The first bar chart illustrates the comparison of reasons for study according to different age people. The second chart reveals the support from their employers in different time.
Obviously, in the first chart, with the growing of age, study because of their interests increases sharply from age under 26 at about 10% to age over 49 at about 70%. On the contrary, the percentage of study for their career continues to decline from age under 26 at 80% to age over 49 at 20% approximately. More precisely, between the age under 26 and 39, people spend more time on their career. During 40 to 49 years old, the proportions of career and interests are the same. Finally, the age 49 and over will choose interests as their first priority.
From the second chart, it is noticeable that the supports from employers decrease from the age fewer than 26 (about 70%) until 39 years old (about 30%). After mid-age, employers pay more attention to the interests of their employees until they are retired (about 40%).
Overall, from the employee side, people will focus on their interests and hobbies with the growing age.
However, the employers pay more attention to career in fact.
