The experience I am going to tell you about happened on Saturday,May 20th,my 21st birthday.Instead of having a feast with my friends as usual,I decided to celebrate it by paying a visit to the Great Wall.Although I had been studying in Beijing for two years,the only impression I had about it still came from the textbook back in secondary school.

我要告訴你的經(jīng)歷發(fā)生在5月20日，星期六，我二十一歲生日的時(shí)候。沒有像平時(shí)一樣跟我的朋友遲鈍大餐，我學(xué)決定通過去趟長(zhǎng)城來慶祝它。雖然我已經(jīng)在北京學(xué)習(xí)兩年了，但我關(guān)于它的印象仍然來自于初中課本。

It was located in the suburb,about 70 kilometers away from my university.As one of the most well-known artificial wonders around the world,it used to receive thousands of visitors a day,and this number might even surpass tens of thousands on holidays.But because of the Covid-19,I only encountered dozens of tourists during the whole journey.

它位于郊區(qū)，離我學(xué)校大約70公里。作為世界上最著名的人工奇跡之一，它曾經(jīng)一天接待上千名游客，節(jié)假日的時(shí)候，這一數(shù)字甚至?xí)^好幾萬。但因?yàn)樾鹿谝咔?，我在整個(gè)旅途過程中只遇到十幾個(gè)人。

If my memory serves me right,I spent 32.5 RMB on that day.I did a lot of research beforehand and found that there was a bus route connecting the city center and the Great Wall,which only took 12.5 RMB,and because I was a student,I bought the ticket for the attraction at 20 RMB rather than 60 RMB for regular visitors.I had brought my own food and drink,so the cost in this regard was also eradicated.

如果我記得沒錯(cuò)的話，我那天花了32.5。我事先做了許多研究，發(fā)現(xiàn)有趟公交車連接市中心和長(zhǎng)城，只需要12.5就行。因?yàn)槲沂莻€(gè)學(xué)生，我買門票只花了20塊錢，而不是一般游客的60塊錢。我?guī)Я俗约旱氖澄锖惋嬃?，所以這方面的花費(fèi)也沒有了。

It was a marvelous day.The scenery was much more magnificent than what I had seen in pictures and videos.The wall was literally like a dragon lying on the ridge of mountains and extended beyond my horizon.I had never expected I could enjoy it at such a low price.

那一天棒極了。風(fēng)景比我在圖片和視頻上看到的要壯觀很多。長(zhǎng)城真的像條巨龍一樣臥在山脊上，延伸到我視線之外。我從來都沒有想到我能用如此低的價(jià)格享受到它。
