Personally，I've never thought I ever had a hobby. As a matter of fact I wasn't even sure what a hobby actually was. Then I got to thinking (2)and I finally realized that my hobby was dancing.

As far as I can remember about my childhood，I have always loved to dance. Dancing was just my thing. I remember attending ballet classes when I was five years old. I would learn the routines so quickly that the instructor would sometimes ask me to help her to teach the other students. （3） The greatest part of being in ballet was attending the ballet recitals. That was when each of us let ourselves shine in front of our family and friends. I always thought that the crowd was watching my every move and thinking， Tow，that girl dances so gracefully. Just thinking of it would make me try even harder to be the best I could. I would practice every day after school and right before bedtime，too. It didn't even matter to me if there was no music playing，I just kept on dancing.

Becoming a famous dancer was one of my greatest childhood dreams. I believed that one day I would get the chance to be a dancer like those in the Music Television Videos. (7.0～8.0)

就我個人而言，我從來沒有想過我有什么愛好。事實上，我甚至不知道什么是業(yè)余愛好。然后我開始思考，我終于意識到我的愛好是跳舞。

A hobby I love that I’d like to talk about is collecting stamps.

我想講述的一個我喜歡的愛好是集郵。

I started to feel interested in it when I was a kid in primary school. So, it’s been almost a decade. I remember I had an art class in grade 5, and our teacher organized an activity to appreciate some stamps from home and abroad. Also, he encouraged us to bring some to the classroom if we had any.

我是在我上小學(xué)的時候開始對它感興趣的。所以，差不多有十年時間了。我記得我當(dāng)時上五年級的時候，我們的老師組織了一個活動，讓我們欣賞來自五湖四海的郵票。同時，他也鼓勵我們有郵票的同學(xué)帶一些來教室。

There was a classmate of mine who was a die-hard fan of stamps, and he brought several booklets that contained lots of stamps in various designs. You know, this article is from Laokaoya website, the moment I saw those aesthetically made little things, I was quite fascinated by them. Some of them were exotic to me as they are from countries like Russia and Spain but really broadened my eyes. Since then, I began to collect some stamps whenever it was possible for me.

當(dāng)時有一位同學(xué)是郵票的狂熱愛好者，他來了幾個冊子的郵票，里面有特別多不同設(shè)計樣式的郵票。我看到這些制作精美的小東西市，就對它們著迷了。一些來自諸如俄羅斯和西班牙等國的郵票對我來說是非常陌生的，但是真的開了我的眼界。從那時起，不管什么時候，只要有可能，我就會搜集一些郵票。

I think the main reason why I am quite into it is that I can always learn something from the stamps I collected such as the unknown piece of history attached to them. Also, partly because they are not just used stamps but are also truly art pieces that allow me to appreciate the beauty of the design.

我認(rèn)為我很喜歡集郵的主要原因是我總是可以在這些收集到郵票中學(xué)習(xí)到東西，例如它們所牽涉的一段不為人知的歷史。另外，部分原因是因為這些郵票不僅僅是用過的郵票而已，它們是真真正正的藝術(shù)品，能夠讓我欣賞到設(shè)計之美。
