The historical period I will tell you about is the Three Kingdoms,which existed about 1800 years ago.It started with the end of the Han dynasty and was followed by the Jin dynasty,lasting less than 100 years.This period was characterized by the tripartite division of China between the states of Wei,Shu,and Wu.
我要告訴你的歷史時(shí)期是三國(guó),存在于大約1800年前。它以漢朝的結(jié)束開(kāi)始,以晉朝的設(shè)立為終結(jié),持續(xù)了不到100年。這一歷史時(shí)期以魏蜀吳三分中國(guó)為特點(diǎn)。
I first learned about it from a novel called Romance of the Three Kingdoms,which is acclaimed as one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature.The story–part historical,part legend,and part mythical–romanticizes and dramatizes the lives of lords and their retainers,who tried to replace the dwindling Han dynasty or restore it.

What I am really interested in is the plots,personal and military battles,intrigues,and struggles of these states to achieve dominance.I have known the final winner,the main characters,and the general trend.

However,since what I have read is a novel,I lack a lot of details,and I do not know which part is made up by the author and which part is the true history.I want to know what really happened during that period and if the heroes were as intelligent,loyal,and valorous as depicted in the book.
