What kinds of things are boring to you? 什么東西對(duì)你來說很無聊？

I should say all the things I have little interest in are pretty boring. For example, since I have zero talent in mathematics, the classes always put me off even if I am still energetic when the bell rings. Moreover, TV series are not my cup of tea either. As a result, when my friends talk about the plots enthusiastically, I cannot help yawning.

我得說所有那些我不太感興趣的事情都挺無聊的。例如，我在數(shù)學(xué)方面毫無天賦，因此其課堂總是讓我昏昏欲睡，即便我在鈴聲響起的時(shí)候還精力充沛。此外，我也不太喜歡電視劇。所以，當(dāng)我朋友在熱情地討論著劇情的時(shí)候，我會(huì)控制不住的打哈欠。

What will you do when you feel bored? 當(dāng)你感到無聊的時(shí)候會(huì)做什么？

Sometimes, I will call my friends to see who is available to watch a movie with me or simply take a walk in the park nearby. But there are also other times when I do not want to bother them. Then I will grab my cellphone and play Wangzherongyao, a game you team up with others to defend the base. I have been quite addicted to it recently.

有時(shí)候，我會(huì)打電話給我朋友，看看誰有空陪我一起看個(gè)電影，或者在周圍的公園里散散步。但也有一些時(shí)候我不想打擾他們。我會(huì)拿出手機(jī)，玩王者榮耀，一款你跟其他人組隊(duì)保護(hù)基地的游戲。我最近對(duì)它十分癡迷。

What was the most boring thing you did when you were young? 小時(shí)候/年輕的時(shí)候，你做過的最無聊的事情是什么？

Hiking for 10 kilometers from my school to a military camp in the suburb. It was actually a part of the military training I received at the beginning of high school. We are required to stay in the block and are prohibited from talking with each other. It is definitely the most boring experience I have ever had.

I used to think so until I was locked down at home and had to take online courses every day because of the Covid-19. I suddenly found that the classroom was so amusing, my classmates and roommates were so cute, and the activities after classes were so colorful. Even though I have returned to the campus now, I still believe so.

我曾經(jīng)這么認(rèn)為，直到我因?yàn)橐咔楸环怄i在家里，只能天天上網(wǎng)課。我突然發(fā)現(xiàn)教室是那么有趣，同學(xué)和室友是那么可愛，課后活動(dòng)是那么豐富多彩。即便現(xiàn)在我已經(jīng)回到了學(xué)校，我仍然這么認(rèn)為。
