托福口語(yǔ)task5答題技巧歸納

先解析一下第五題答案結(jié)構(gòu)，建議大家用二分法答題，一分鐘分為兩個(gè)30秒，前一個(gè)30秒包括3句話陳述人物遇到的問(wèn)題，2句話分別列出兩個(gè)解決方案;后一個(gè)30秒分析自己的選擇原因，主要去分析自己沒(méi)選擇的觀點(diǎn)存在什么缺陷，再一兩句話稍微帶一下自己選項(xiàng)的好處。

這題和第三題一樣注意一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的統(tǒng)一性，所以再次提醒大家動(dòng)詞的形態(tài)，第五題前半部分陳述很死板，建議大家聽(tīng)聽(tīng)力前就在草稿紙上把筆記框架話好，往里面填信息即可。后半部分個(gè)人發(fā)揮空間較大，三句話分析你不選的選項(xiàng)有什么問(wèn)題，最后兩句話總結(jié)自己的選項(xiàng)。

Task5題型分析

首先，來(lái)看一下Task5的題型。

(1)遇到的問(wèn)題;

(2)解決方案—1;

(3)方案1的優(yōu)勢(shì);

(4)方案1的劣勢(shì);

(5)解決方案—2;

(6)方案2的優(yōu)勢(shì);

(7)方案2的劣勢(shì)。

而Task5的題目要求是：首先表述一下其中一人所遇到的困境是什么?其次，表明在材料所給出的兩個(gè)解決方案中考生自己傾向于選哪一個(gè)，并表明自己選擇的原因是什么。

在分析完題型后，我們應(yīng)該來(lái)研究一下怎樣利用這些信息來(lái)進(jìn)行高效的答題。畢竟每個(gè)考生只有60秒的回答時(shí)間，如果不加篩選的將所有信息全部奉上，一般情況下是無(wú)法完成作答的。

因此，我們必須利用一個(gè)有效的邏輯框架來(lái)幫助我們思考和回答題目。

我們的答題思路應(yīng)該是這樣的：

Step1: 先敘述談話者遇到的問(wèn)題;

Step2: 接著非常簡(jiǎn)潔地列舉一下兩個(gè)解決方案;

Step3: 做出選擇，表明自己傾向的方案;

Step4: 用對(duì)角線原則陳述選擇的原因。(即：列舉自己的優(yōu)勢(shì)，以及另一方案的劣勢(shì)。)

由此可見(jiàn)，我們一旦做出選擇后，沒(méi)必要將所有信息都陳述出來(lái)，而只要做到依據(jù)對(duì)角線原則，答出那些我們需要的原因就可以，即：自己的優(yōu)點(diǎn)，別人的缺點(diǎn)。

實(shí)戰(zhàn)分析

下面我們舉例來(lái)說(shuō)明：

例：TPO32—Task5

Listen to a conversation between two students.

“

man：I don’t know about you, but, I’m really looking forward to summer break.

woman： I can’t even think that far ahead. I’ve got so much to do before the end of the semester. I’ve been feeling pretty stressed out lately.

man：Why? What’s going on?

woman：Well, I just have so many assignments. I’ve got three major research papers to do and they all due, basically, at the same time, in two weeks.

man： Wow! Three? That is a lot. And research papers take a lot of time.

woman： Right, and between my job and classes, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get them all done.

man： Well, is there anything you could cut from your schedule, I mean, you’re working part-time in an office in town, aren’t you? Why don’t you just reduce your hours there for a while, at least till you get the papers done.

woman： Well, I guess I could tell my boss I need to cut back on my hours for a couple of weeks, uh, but I don’t know, I haven’t been working there very long. I don’t want to make a bad impression by asking for time off already?

man：What else could you do?

woman： Well, another option is I could get an extension on one of the papers. I asked one of my professors about it, my History professor, and she said it would be OK if I handed the paper in a week late. So, I guess I could just concentrate on getting the other two papers done first.

man： Oh, that’s great.

woman：Yeah, only she said she’d have to take a few points off the grade for the paper since it would be late, you know, to be fair to the other students.

man： Oh, that’s a drag. So what are you gonna do?

woman：Uh, I don’t know yet.

”

在聽(tīng)的過(guò)程中，按照“七點(diǎn)法”進(jìn)行考點(diǎn)分析：

(為了模擬考試狀態(tài)，此處我們只寫(xiě)關(guān)鍵詞)

(1) Problem:

three major research papers / all due at the same time, in 2 weeks/------- part-time job/ no enough time for the three papers

(2) Solution1:

Tell the boss/ cut back on her hours for a couple of weeks

優(yōu)勢(shì)：this is only a part-time job / could ask the boss

劣勢(shì)：she’s not been working very long. / make a bad impression

(3) Solution2:

Get an extension on one of the papers.

優(yōu)勢(shì)：she asked professor / she said it would be ok/ she could concentrate on the other two papers first.

劣勢(shì)：the professor would have to take a few points off the grade for the paper.

有了上面的考點(diǎn)提煉和梳理，我們答題就會(huì)顯得容易的多。

參考答案

現(xiàn)在，讓我們來(lái)看一個(gè)版本的參考答案：(選solution1)

Sample answer:

The woman in the conversation has got a problem, which is, she has three major research papers that all due at the same time in two weeks.

Meanwhile, she has a part-time job in an office in town. So there is not enough time in the day for her to get all three papers done.

Here are two solutions.

The first one is to tell the boss to cut back on her hours for a couple of weeks.

The second one is to get an extension on one of the papers.

I prefer the first one.

Since this is only a part-time job, and she thinks that the boss would understand her situation and allow her to cut some hours. And then she would have enough time in the 2 weeks to concentrate on getting all the three papers done.

As for the second solution, although the professor has said yes, it is still not good because to be fair to the other students, a few points would be taken off the grade for the paper as it would be late. That’s not what she wants.

Based on the reasons above, I prefer the first solution.

題目

問(wèn)題：女生是一個(gè)組織的主席，要舉辦一個(gè)慶?；顒?dòng)給business graduate students畢業(yè)生送禮物。女生要發(fā)禮物找商家定制coffee mugs但是商家Business這個(gè)詞里多印了一個(gè)s。

兩個(gè)解決辦法：

1、再等一周重新做，之后再給她發(fā)一次貨，但是就不能按時(shí)在活動(dòng)前送到，并且還要一個(gè)個(gè)去送;

2、退掉，或者買其他的禮物比如T-shirt。

優(yōu)點(diǎn)1：和他與他的家人hang out

缺點(diǎn)1：可能沒(méi)有太多的時(shí)間寫(xiě)paper

解決方案2：去一個(gè)professor 家里幫他照看pets and plants

優(yōu)點(diǎn)2：有比較充裕的時(shí)間去完成paper

缺點(diǎn)2：自己一個(gè)人比較孤獨(dú)

答題關(guān)鍵詞：(P) The woman is supposed to give presents to the business club members at the end of the semester; she ordered customized mugs; but the word “business” on the mugs is spelt wrong when she received them; two possible solutions; return the mugs and wait for the new ones for free; ask for refund and use the money to buy other gifts; (S) ask for refund; mugs would arrive late if she chose to return and wait for new ones; business club members would be disappointed without presents given at the dinner; the woman could use the refund to buy other gifts; such as campus t-shirts; may not be as unique as customized mugs; but still related to the university; better something than nothing.
