Student Art Display
The university is currently considering possible locations on campus for displaying paintings and other artwork by students. I think the lobby at the entrance to the student center would be a great location. Since many students pass through the student center every day, artwork displayed in the lobby would be viewed by hundreds of people. Also, because the whole front of the building is made of glass windows, the lobby is filled with natural light. This makes it perfect for displaying artwork, which should have plenty of light to be seen and appreciated.

The money saved by eliminating the bus service will be used to expand the overcrowded student parking lots.

首先來(lái)看閱讀材料部分。閱讀部分的時(shí)長(zhǎng)為45秒,內(nèi)容一般分為兩種:1.School Announcement 學(xué)校通知 (較???:學(xué)校會(huì)發(fā)布一個(gè)通知,通知學(xué)生某項(xiàng)決議,然后,給出兩個(gè)理由。2.Student Proposal 學(xué)生提議:一名學(xué)生,會(huì)因?yàn)閷W(xué)校目前存在的某個(gè)問(wèn)題,或者認(rèn)為學(xué)校的某項(xiàng)決定影響了自己的利益,寫(xiě)的一封反對(duì)信或者建議信。
如何在短短的45秒內(nèi)高效提取信息呢?可以遵循以下三步:
1.看到閱讀材料,首先記標(biāo)題,然后到正文部分去記兩個(gè)要點(diǎn)。
2.Task3的閱讀部分,一般第一句話(huà)是背景信息,可以直接略過(guò)。在文章第三行的位置,開(kāi)始尋找第一個(gè)觀點(diǎn)。要特別注意強(qiáng)轉(zhuǎn)折或順承的信號(hào)詞,比如however, but, also, yet, still,這些詞后面容易出觀點(diǎn)。
3.Task3 的兩個(gè)點(diǎn),絕大多數(shù)情況,都在閱讀材料的中后部,所以為了節(jié)約時(shí)間,可以嘗試跳讀。
建議答題模板:

接下來(lái)我們看看聽(tīng)力材料部分。聽(tīng)力對(duì)話(huà)的時(shí)長(zhǎng)90秒,聽(tīng)力中會(huì)出現(xiàn)一男一女兩個(gè)人,就閱讀中所說(shuō)的事情或者觀點(diǎn),提出自己的想法。兩人中會(huì)有一個(gè)人主說(shuō),另一個(gè)人應(yīng)和。所以我們?cè)谟浌P記時(shí),應(yīng)重點(diǎn)記一唱一和中‘唱’的那個(gè)人的觀點(diǎn)。
聽(tīng)力技巧:
1. 需要迅速判斷主說(shuō)人后,敲定口語(yǔ)表達(dá)過(guò)程中的人稱(chēng)(迅速判斷He /She ,并在草稿紙上標(biāo)注出來(lái),以防講的時(shí)候混淆)
2. 率先表達(dá)自己同意或反對(duì)的觀點(diǎn),并解釋的那個(gè)人,就是主說(shuō)人,一般不會(huì)超過(guò)前三句。
3. 句子中盡量不記主語(yǔ),要記動(dòng)詞和賓語(yǔ),因?yàn)閯?dòng)詞體現(xiàn)文章邏輯,影響表達(dá)流暢性。
4. 60s的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)時(shí)間,建議的黃金分配為:reading 20s, Listening 40s(可上下浮動(dòng)5-10s)。如果聽(tīng)力能力欠缺,可以多展開(kāi)閱讀部分信息。
