(第一題)Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Spending a lot of time watching sports on TV and following favorite team will have negative impact on one's life.

(第二題)Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Your job has more effect on your happiness than your social life does.

在第一題中，只講了一件事件，即“Spending a lot of time watching sports on TV and following favorite team”，考生要分析這件事情對生活的利弊。在第二題中，有一個對比，即job和social life到底哪個對幸福影響更多。所以，第一題是“單一型”的題目，而第二題是“對比型”的題目。

請再分析以下兩道題目有什么區(qū)別。

(第一題)

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Spending a lot of time watching sports on TV and following favorite team will have negative impact on one's life.

(第三題)

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is impossible to be completely honest with your friends.

在這兩題中，雖然都是只講一個事情，但是第三題不能像第一題那樣列出提綱來展開，所以這是“抽象型”的題目。

此外，還有一種不常見的“三選一”的題目：

Which of the following do you think is the best way for students to make new friends? 1) joining a sports team; 2) participating in community activities; 3) travelling.

所以，托福獨立寫作分成4種類型的題目：單一型、對比型、抽象型、三選一。每次拿到題目，要先做分類判斷。如果這一步錯了，那么在源頭就有問題了。從概率上統(tǒng)計，單一型和對比型考到概率大，各占40%左右。
