1.俗話(古語)說，……：As an old saying goes/ as an old proverb says,

例句：

As an old saying goes, godhelps those who help themselves.

俗話說，自助者天助之

2.據(jù)報道/據(jù)估計/據(jù)說/據(jù)信，……：It is reported/estimated/said/thought/believedthat….

例句：

It is estimated that itwill take about three years to finish the project.

據(jù)估計，需要三年來完成這個項目。

3.也就是說，……：In other words/Namely/To put it anotherway/ That is to say, ….

例句：

She was too trusting. Inother words, she had no head for business.

她太輕信人，換句話說，她沒有商業(yè)頭腦。

4.一則，……;再則，……(多用于闡述理由或列舉)：For one thing, …. For another, ….

例句：

It is not wise forstudents to frequently go shopping. For one thing, most of them have no sourceof income. For another, they need to spend more time on their studies.

學(xué)生頻繁去購物是不明智的。一方面，絕大多數(shù)學(xué)生沒有收入來源;另一方面，他們需要在學(xué)業(yè)上投入更多的時間。

托福綜合寫作的高分句式：

1.考慮到……：Considering/Regarding/In view of .

例句：

In the view of the fact,this approach is inadvisable.

考慮到這個事實(shí)，這個方法是不可取的。

2.我認(rèn)為、在我看來，……：In my view/In my opinion/As far as I am concerned,

例句：

In my view, it is quiteimportant for students to enhance their learning in Chinese.

在我看來，學(xué)生加強(qiáng)漢語學(xué)習(xí)是很重要的。

3.為了……：For the sake of/for purposes of/in orderto achieve sth,…

例句：

They seem to have doingnothing but reading, acquiring more knowledge and really essentially justlearning for the sake of learning.

他們好像除了讀書，掌握更多知識、為了學(xué)習(xí)而學(xué)習(xí)之外，什么也不做。

4.很容易理解/證明……：It can beeasily understood/proved that….

例句：

It can be easily provedthat one cannot achieve success unless he or she keeps on working hard.

很容易證明：除非一個人堅持不懈一直努力，否則他(她)很難取得成功。

5. 用不同句式套用同一個意思，例如下面表眾所周知的意思：

It’s well known to us that .。。

As is known to us, .。。

This is a topic that is being widely talked about。

From the graph (table，chart、listed above，itcan be seen that .。。

As a proverb says, “Where there is a will, there is away”.

例子：As is wellknown to us, it is important for the students to know the world outside campus。眾所周知的是了解校園之外的事對學(xué)生很重要。
