Describe a teacher that had a powerful effect on you.
You should say:
What subject the teacher taught you
When you had his/her class
Describe the teacher’s appearance and personality
And explain what effect the teacher had on you.
First let me tell you about my teacher Zhang Fei and she still works at the Dalian Middle School number 23. She taught me English in school. I had her class about 6 years ago and she taught me for a full year.
First let me tell you how she looks. She looks very normal except that she’s very beautiful inside. She’s tall and thin but the thing you can notice about her wonderful, dark eyes with very bushy eyebrows under her spectacles. I can still picture her. You know she does not seem friendly at first, because she is very stern when she speaks and she will not tolerate nonsense, but she is very kind in her own special way. . She is also very demanding and clear when she speaks and her concern is not so much your grades but your effort.
The effect she had was very powerful. Essentially she taught me that you could be very disciplined and stern and hard working but still be very kind. Before I thought all teachers who were strict were just mean. After her, I learned that hard work is about not compromising on quality.
雅思口語(yǔ)新店開張?jiān)掝}
Describe a shop that has opened in your hometown
What shop it is
What it sells (or, what you usually buy there)
when you first started going to this shop (or, how you came to know about this shop)
and explain why you like (to go to) this shop
雅思口語(yǔ)part2范文:
There is the biggest Vinmart shop in my hometown which located in the heart of the city. There are a lot of supermarkets, shops and markets around my house, making it easier to go shopping around.
I have to say that this shop makes its mission to satisfy all customer needs anytime, anywhere. Therefore, I suppose there's no doubt about its quality. Actually, quality assurance is the most important benefit of shopping here. And the quality of service is excellent as well. To the best of my recollection, 2 weeks ago, when I came to buy some snacks, I met a middle-aged woman with her son at Vinmart. She said to the staff that she only went window shopping to pamper her son, who always liked visiting supermarkets and shops to see things. The staff were very welcoming and gave her son a candy as a gift. I could see that her son was over the moon. That left me with a lasting and positive impression about Vinmart.
The shop sells a good number of items which are necessary for the daily life including groceries to clothing.
Besides, it also sells all sorts of fresh meats, food crops and grains, powder and liquid milk They have a large selection of food for breakfast or lunch. I am particularly addicted to their signature coffee because of its unique taste and smell.
This was a unique place that caught my eyes. The environment was quite unique with gorgeous painting and decoration. It's modern and it's elegant but, more important than that, it is so warm and cozy.

1. Are there many museums in your hometown?
Yes, there are various kinds of museums in China, such as the museums of modern art, museums of science and industry, and museums of nature.
2. Do you think museums are useful for visitors to your hometown?
Sure, I believe museums are a great educational tool. Both adults and kids can gain an understanding of history and culture there.
3. Do you often visit a museum?
Actually, I seldom visit museums coz there is only an art museum in my hometown and I am weak in understanding the deeply meaning of the work of art.
4. Did you go to any museums when you were a child?
Yes, when I was child, my Dad took me to the nature museum in my hometown. I was very interested in dinosaurs and I enjoyed the dinosaur models as well as the fossils of dinosaurs. And before we went home, my Dad also bought me some souvenir and books.
5. Do you think museums are important?
Sure. Museums are pretty important. Adults and kids can get a chance to acquire new knowledge in different aspects. Also,hands-on exhibits and models showing in the museums can surely bring science and arts alive for them.
6. Do you think it’s suitable for museums to sell things to visitors?
Well, I should say it would be a good idea for the museums to sell things related to the exhibitions to visitors. Visitors can keep them as souvenirs or sending them as gifts to friends. For those non-profit museums, they would have a larger budget to improve their conditions and services if they can increase their income by selling things to visitors. However, there are some museums selling some products at a high price to visitors. I would think it’s not suitable, because museums are mainly for the public interest.
7. When was the last time you visited a museum?
Actually, I treat different kinds of museums as a place for hanging out with my friends, so last Sunday we went to the science museum together. We joined the workshops to learn the practical science around us and also get to know more about the latest science and technology.
8. Are there many (or, any) museums in your hometown?
Not so many, actually there is only one museum in my small county about the local history. It allows the local residents to know better about their traditions and historical celebrities.

雅思口語(yǔ)新題范文:Letters
1.Yes, I almost write emails for my clients as part of my job on a daily basis.
2.There are many things I have to write, for example, I usually write end user training for my clients to teach them how to use the system, or I write the development guide for my technical staffs to tell them how to code.
3.If I were to choose between the two, I’ll probably go with writing things with a computer. I believe that in the age of fast pace and a culture of efficiency, writing with computers can bring people convenience and efficiency. Whereas, hand writing stuff is really hard to share.
4.Well, between the two, a letter is printed or handwritten on actual paper and sent through the mail while an email is typed on a computer, tablet or smartphone and sent electronically. While emails have become a more popular way of communication for individuals and businesses, traditional letters still have a place in today’s modern, tech-oriented society.
5.Normally it seems like a daily routine for me to write emails to my clients about how to use the system; but if they complain to me about the poor user experience, I sometimes really find myself getting stuck in how to explain everything to cool them down.
6.I would be feeling excited to receive a letter or email from other because the sender has spent time writing it. Especially when someone writes to me to appreciate me or compliment me about my responsible work.
7.Well, if I were to choose between the two, I will probably go with writing an email because I can have plenty of time thinking about how to express my opinion correctly and clearly, besides, the whole conversation can be tracked in the mail list; whereas, you know, making a telephone call usually leads to misunderstanding because sometimes it is not very accurate and obscure.
8.I believe that as a major method of communication between people, letter writing has a vast and interesting history; besides, handwritten letters are personal. They show the receiver that someone has spent time and effort in communicating with them. They are a way of connecting two people that cannot be achieved through the impersonal use of texts or instant messages. Therefore, I feel that the handwriting letters are irreplaceable in the future.
9.Very few on that note. Generally everyone prefers letters but there are some who are crazy about them. My mother is one such person. She is so fond of letters that no matter how many other things I give to her, every letter that I write makes her happier than anything in the world.
