雅思口語part1話題范文:Punctuality(時(shí)間管理)
1.How do you manage (or, organize, or plan) your time?
版本1:I normally use an app on my iPhone which allows me to program all the events I have for the week and their duration and then I know roughly how much time I have ans when I have to be someplace at a certain time on a certain day and so on.
版本2:As I said, I don't have any specific system in place to manage my time. For example, if I am at work and I have a lot of cases, I just go through them each day and decide which I need to tackle first. At work we do have an online diary which I guess I use, so in that sense I do manage my time to an extent.
2.Would you say you manage (or, organize) your time well?
版本1:Generally speaking, yes. I'm usually quite busy during the week so I need to be well organised, but on weekends I'm normally a bit more relaxed about how I use my time.
版本2:Actually I'd say I'm not too good! I don't really have a system in place to organize things. I know some people have an electronic organizer or use some device to plan what they are doing but I don't do that. But I always make sure I am on time for appointments and things like that, and I meet deadlines and get things done.
3.When is it most important for you to manage your time?
I think it is probably when you are at work. When out of work, it's not really going to affect things too much, or at least only yourself, if you are late to meet friends or for an appointment, or if you are getting things done in your house. But at work, it will cause problems if you don't manage your timeeffectively because you could miss deadlines or miss appointments. You could lose your job. So at work is when it is most important to manage your time.
4.Do you find it hard to manage your time?
I used to, a few years ago, and in fact I didn't do much planning, but as I got busier it became more important to be better organised, so I really made an effort to learn about time management and that's when I started using the app I told you about - that's what made the difference for me, and since then it's just become a habit, so now it's easy.
5.Where did you learn how to organize your time?
I taught myself really, just by reading some articles about time management and trying to find a way of doing it that suited me. It took a bit of time to get used to being disciplined about it, but eventually it became normal for me.
6.How do you think you could better manage your time?
At the moment, I really don't think I could. I mean, I organise all the things I have to do and try to optimise my time between work and studying and it works well for me - so I can't really think how I could improve on what I'm doing just now...but if I had some extra hours in the day, I'd probably plan those as well in the same way.
7.Do you think it's useful to plan your time?
Generally, yes, because you can get more done in the same time. But it's important to have some time free when everything's not planned, that's usually how I treat my weekends as long as there's nothing particular I need to do. I tend to be more relaxed about what I do or when I do it. I don't think it's a good idea to be clock watching all the time - you need some periods of time when you don't have things organised and can just go with the flow.
8.Are you ever late for anything?
Very rarely, it almost never happens nowadays.
9.If you had more time, what would you do with the extra time?
I'd probably use it to relax more and maybe do some kind of activity, maybe a sport or something like that to do something different, or learn something new.

范文
Everyone remembers getting their first mobile phone like it was yesterday. My first phone was as slow as molasses in January and ugly as sin, but at the time I was as happy as a clam! I still have the phone today as I keep it for the memories and nostalgia. It looks so outdated these days against modern smartphones, like an old relic.
My mother surprised me with this phone on my 17th birthday. I remember waking up to find a small package next on my bed next to my head. I had no idea what it was, so I ripped open the wrapping paper with a huge grin on my face. To my surprise, my mum had bought me a stunning Nokia phone and I was in seventh heaven.
When I compare this phone with modern smartphones, it looks like something out of a museum. However, at the time the phone was actually considered to be quite modern and sleek in design. It was silver in color and had an elegant slide cover that clicked into place.
What I remember most is how the phone totally changed my life and opened up new opportunities for me. I joined a Chinese messaging service called QQ and I was instantly connected to all my friends 24/ It was so addictive! I spent hours in deep chats with people all over China and the rest of the world. It was an amazing experience.

范文
I am a girl of 18 and just have crossed my higher secondary. Now it is time for me to get a graduate admission. I am planning a very special trip outside of Pakistan once I am done with the admission.
I am planning to visit the neighbouring countries like India, Nepal and Bangladesh. There is a good number of visiting places for the tourists. Besides, the natural views are also priceless in those places. Always I have heard that travelling expands the outlook and broadens our mind. I had chances to visit the entire country of mine but never have had the chance to visit the other countries. I Hope this would be a great trip for me and help me enriching my knowledge and real-life skills.
I have been brought up in a liberal environment but my parents were always with me. They have behaved me like my friends and I have also shared everything with them. Whenever I went to any external trip out of the city, I was accompanied by either my father or by my mother. So, I expect this time I will be accompanied by one of them. But I want both of them to be with me on this special trip. In fact, they have not visited the neighbouring countries. My father remains busy with his teaching (he is a university professor) while my mother cares for the home. They have passed their life in this monotonous way and now I think this is their time to relax.
I think the admission process will be done within the next summer. The admission process is really difficult and I am planning to get admitted to the University of Punjab. This is one of the best and prominent universities in the country and adjacent to my home. After having the admission, I will start the trip. But at the same time, I have planned for the other necessary tasks. I do not have my own passport and planning to get one within next two months. Besides, getting visas for the countries is another important tasks, especially getting the visa for India since there are some political disturbances between the two countries. Managing visa for Bangladesh and Nepal would be easier, I think. When all the things will be done, I will need to wait to start the journey.
This is a very special trip for me in some aspects. The most important thing is that I have never board on an airplane. This will bring a chance for me to ride on the plane. Besides, I have read histories of the colonial periods but have not seen the places where the British domination took place in India. This will also meet my thirst to visit the places and get to know them personally. Additionally, my parents will be with me and it will also increase the joy of the trip. So, considering all the issues, I think this is a very special trip for me.
