Ok, well I've actually been to quite a few weddings, because I'm now at the age when a lot of my friends are starting to get married, so it was kind of difficult choosing which one to describe, but I guess probably the easiest for me to talk about would be the most recent one I went to, which was that of a neighbour of mine.

Also, what I should probably make clear to you first, though, is that weddings here in China tend to just involve the wedding reception, as you may know, without the signing of marriage documents, which is usually done in private several months before the wedding, so it's just the reception which I'm gonna talk about.

And, as for who was there, well, I couldn't tell you everyone, because there were absolutely loads of people, you know, the hall was pretty packed, so my guess would be that there were probably something like 250 to 300 guests, and if I'm not mistaken, it seemed to be that the majority were friends and relatives of the bride and groom, although I also noticed that they had invited quite a few of their colleagues from work as well, because one of them, who I think was her boss, went up on stage to make a speech at some point.

Anyway, with regard to where the wedding was held, well, it was actually in a small city called Zhuji, which is about an hour's drive just to the south east of Hangzhou, because that's where the bride comes from, and the reception itself was held in quite a nice-looking hotel, which was easy to spot because it was about 10 times higher than all the buildings around it!

So regarding how I felt at the wedding, well, to put it simply, it was a really wonderful wedding, and there were some parts of it that moved me quite a lot, such as when the bride broke down in tears when she was on stage thanking her parents for all the support they had given her. It was also really clear to see how much the bride and groom loved each other, as they couldn't take their eyes off each other the whole evening, so I was really happy for them and was glad that I made it to their wedding.

Example： Well, to be honest, I used to love looking up at the sky all the time. It was the most peaceful moment and perfect for wandering with the breezes. But now with the fog and haze, there’s no way I can do that again.

Actually, I don’t have any particular preference over this since they both got unique features. Well, I guess it depends greatly on where one live. I mean, for someone lives in the suburban district or country side, with less lights and average height of the house, positions for a better view may not matter that much. 1. Do you like taking photos/pictures?

聽到這個(gè)題目很多同學(xué)的常規(guī)思路是“喜歡拍照，因?yàn)橛幸馑?I love taking photos because it is very interesting)”。這種答法非常普便，最大的缺點(diǎn)就是太籠統(tǒng)，細(xì)節(jié)太少，不符合雅思口語評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中 ‘speak at full length’的內(nèi)在要求。

那么有沒有比較有意思，新穎，豐富的答案呢?下面我們通過語料分析來拓展一下思路。

這個(gè)問題所能展開的語料點(diǎn)有兩個(gè)：

一是like這個(gè)單詞，我們可以有很多同義替換的詞匯，比如love, enjoy, be crazy about, be fond of等等。

第二語料點(diǎn)就是taking photos/pictures,我們可以想一想是給人照相，還是給風(fēng)景照相，這樣我們在設(shè)計(jì)答語時(shí)，就會(huì)有兩個(gè)可發(fā)散的方向?；蛘邇烧叨忌婕暗揭允勾鸶迂S富。關(guān)于taking photos/pictures，我們還可以用特殊疑問詞去展開敘述，比如what，用什么拍照，相機(jī)還是手機(jī)，where喜歡在哪拍照，山里還是海邊，還有how often多久拍一次。

2. Would you like to take photos of others or be photographed?

這是一個(gè)非常經(jīng)典的選擇性的問答題，面對這樣的題目，大部分同學(xué)還是可以很快做出選擇的，例如很多人會(huì)說: I would like to take photos of others.但是后續(xù)思路的拓展難倒了很多人，比如為什么喜歡這樣的做法。理由的補(bǔ)充是雅思口語考試中最重要的細(xì)節(jié)之一。所以這個(gè)題目的思路的新穎性需要體現(xiàn)在reason這個(gè)點(diǎn)上。

我們來進(jìn)行一下語料分析。首先是Would you like的替換，除了I would like這個(gè)短語之外，我們還可以用I would prefer to do, I have my preference for doing,甚至I want to, I love to都是不錯(cuò)的，也可以用一些對比信號比較強(qiáng)烈的詞組，例如這樣的開頭句，Compared with being photographed, I would prefer to take photos of others.

那么接下來，我們該如何展開reason呢?最好的辦法，就是結(jié)合自己的個(gè)人情況：

有的同學(xué)說自己不上相，我們可以說他不夠photogenic,如果這個(gè)單詞有難度，就可以說I don’t look beautiful/cool/handsome in photo.因此不太喜歡被別人拍照。

與之相反，有的同學(xué)比較喜歡欣賞自己的美，就可以說，I feel really confident when seeing beautiful me in photos.甚至可以自嘲說Maybe I have narcissism,有點(diǎn)自戀。因此這樣的同學(xué)可以選擇說喜歡被照相。這里我們談了較多被拍照的思路，

雅思口語Sunshine話題

1. Do you like sunny days?

思路：

一般我們就喜歡回答yes或者no，然后來一個(gè)‘because’解釋原因。我們也可以去嘗試對比一下以前和過去。

誤區(qū)：

有的同學(xué)沒有在意‘sunny days’是連在一起的，所以會(huì)錯(cuò)說成‘I like sunny’，這樣就不對啦，因?yàn)椤畇unny’僅僅是形容詞在這里，后面需要加上名詞，變成‘sunny days’。當(dāng)然也可以去轉(zhuǎn)述，說‘I like it when it’s sunny’。還有的同學(xué)回答‘Do you like sunny days?’這個(gè)題目，喜歡直接回答‘Yes I like sunny days’或者‘No, I don’t like sunny days’。這樣就很難在評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)里面詞匯一項(xiàng)得高分了。

2. Do you like going outside on sunny days?

思路：

有的同學(xué)想在這一題用’it depends’去分情況，非常好!你可以這么講 – Well I guess it really depends. I mean most of the time, I would prefer to stay indoors enjoying my lovely AC if it’s burning out there. But if it’s in winter, I like to take a walk somewhere to let the sun warm me up.

誤區(qū)：

有的同學(xué)在這里可能會(huì)有點(diǎn)兒沒注意介詞的準(zhǔn)確，時(shí)常聽到這樣的回答‘I like going outside in sunny days’或者‘I don't like going outside in sunny’。準(zhǔn)備的表達(dá)是on sunny days. 注意在一個(gè)具體的日子里，我們要用on。比如on my birthday, on Valentine’s Day, on Xmas…
