  1) The advertising can create the awareness and preference of a company and the products among its target group of customers.
  2) The first basic function of advertising is to identify the product. It tells the audience what product or service each business wants to sell.
  3) Advertising differentiates one product from the others.
  4) Advertising communicates information about the product, its features, and its location of sales.
  5) Advertising induces customers to try new products and suggests reuse.
  6) Advertising stimulates the distribution of a product.
  7) Advertising plays an important role in increasing the sales or product use. As people love the advertisement, they will buy or use the product more.
  8) Advertising builds value, brand preference, and loyalty.
  9) Advertising lowers the overall cost of sales,“advertising reaches through mass media, many audiences or customers.
  4.廣告的負(fù)面作用
  1) I believe currently that advertising has become so powerful and so subtle that we accept most of it without thinking it over.
  2) It is our environment. We buy shirts and bags with large "logos" to show off.
  3) Most of us own a TV. The programmes that exist are only to get us to see ads.
  4) Our newspapers are covered with ads and we still call it news. My point of view is that advertising is in no way positive. It creates "want" in a society that doesn't understand the true meaning of "need".
  5) Our life is thick with commercials and advertisements. They are disturbing and offensive.
