1.What kind of gifts do you prefer to receive? Why?
Flowers will be a perfect gift for me. The fragrance just lifts me up and the color, be it red, yellow or blue, will also flatten me when I take selfies. Another kind gift could be dolls like a teddy bear. The room appears warmer and more comfortable when covered with a wide range of dolls.
2.Do you like to send gifts to others?
I am a very busy person, which means I have little time to waste making this person or that feel better about themselves or to join in their celebrations. I do, however, observe etiquette, and send my regards by means of online delivery companies. I always pick the worst presents.
3.What do you usually give to others as gifts?
I have many relatives living all over China. Since travelling is time consuming and expensive, I prefer to deliver my presents to them, rather than give it to them myself. I discovered that flowers are an easy and inexpensive gift to serve for almost all occasions.
4.What kind of gifts did you like when you were a kid?
When I was a child, I loved the gifts of doll. One of my favorite dolls was a teddy bear who had a long snout and big, round eyes. He was covered in rich brown fur, or at least; he was when I first got him from my grandmother when I was an infant. Soon his fur was thin and worn because I carried him everywhere and almost never let him go!

Describe an environment law.
You should say:
what it is
how you first learned about it
who benefits from it
and explain how you feel about this law.
These days the environment really is a hot topic, especially in China. Big cities, such as Beijing, are notorious for having a lot of pollution. Sometimes, in winter, the smog is so bad that you can’t see the end of the street!
Because of this, the government has been trying to reduce the levels of pollution with certain environmental policies and laws. They have said they are declaring war on pollution, by putting bosses in jail if their companies do not reduce harmful emis-sions and removing a limit on the amount of money companies can be fined for causing too much pollution.
I’m not that familiar with the topic, but I remember first reading about the new laws in the newspaper and on the internet. As I said, the environment is a big deal nowa-days, so this sort of thing is front page news.
In the long run, everybody benefits from this kind of law. On the one hand, compa-nies may lose money by closing their factories or reducing production, but on the other hand they are helping to make the world a cleaner and healthier place to live. Not only ourselves, but also future generations will benefit from having less pollution.
I don’t think anyone could argue against these laws. Some people may think that they do not go far enough or that they will not be enforced, but I feel they are better than nothing. Everyone should do their bit to reduce emissions and keep our skies blue.

Describe a piece of artwork or handicraft you made at school.
You should say:
when you made it
what it is like
how you made it
and explain why you made it.
We didn’t do a lot of arts and crafts when I was at school, so when we did it was a big deal. When you’re a kid, glue and paint ismuch more interesting than numbers and books, so it really sticks in your mind.
I remember one year, I was in primary school, so I must have been six or seven years old. It was Mother’s Day and my teacher told us we would make a greeting card for our mum to say thank you to her for raising us and to show that we loved her.
My memory is a little hazy, but I can still recall using the special scissors that you have in school, the ones that are extra safe so that children do not hurt themselves when they try to cut something. We also had the sticks of glue that you have to twist the bottom to get the sticky part. I cut a big heart out of some red paper and stuck it on to a yellow piece of card, then I covered it in glue and poured sparkly stuff all over it.Looking back it seems a bit over the top, but when you’re a child the more the better! Inside I wrote, “I love you, mummy” and drew a very bad picture of me.
Like I said, when you’re a kid you are always excited to make things and get messy with paint and glue. But because it was for my mum I was extra pumped up and wanted to make her the most beautiful card ever! She still has it today, along with a lot of other embarrassing artwork and photos from my childhood.

Describe a toy that you received when you were a child
You should say:
What the toy was.
Who gave it to you
How you used this.
And explain how you felt when you got this toy
When I was a child, I received a Barbie doll as a gift from my father's friend. He bought the toy from the States.
I played with this Barbie doll almost every day. I begged my grandma to make clothes for her and dressed her like a princess or a super star. She was my favorite toy for a long time. I always put her besides my pillow.
I felt super happy when I received this Barbie doll. The doll had long hair, big eyes, and beautiful skirt. When I was a child, Barbie doll was very expensive and my parents couldn't afford to buy it, so Barbie doll had been a dream gift for me. To some extent, receiving the doll was a dream coming true. I saw it as a valuable gift and tried to keep it in a good shape. I also felt thankful for my father's friend who brought this happiness to me.
