1. Do you often have dreams at night?
Yeah! Basically every night, but sometimes when I’m fully/wide awake, I would forget all of them, which is kind of weird.
I heard there are people who have never had dreams, or at least they don’t remember they had one, so sleeping for them is just like, you close your eyes at night, and then open your eyes in the morning, and it feels like just a second has passed. I’m so curious about what that feels like.
She was still half asleep (= not fully awake) when she arrived at work.
2. Do you remember your dreams when you wake up?
Well, just like I said, I would remember some of them, especially vivid and unrealistic ones and of course nightmares. For example, the other night I had a horrible dream about snakes. They were everywhere and even on my body, I just freaked out and woke up in a sweat.
跟the other night相似的用法還有the other day/ morning/ evening/ week,他們都表示recently,例如:
I saw Jack the other day.
3. Do you like hearing others' dreams?
Yeah! I like it when my friends are sharing their sweet dreams or nightmares with me. They are full of entertaining and hilarious stories, you can even tell one’s imagination from the dreams they had. And to be honest, some of the nightmares my friends told me are even more thrilling and gripping than the actual ghost stories or horror movies. Yeah, so I just love to hear about them.
Gripping表示exciting or interesting in a way that keeps your attention,經(jīng)常被翻譯成“勾人心弦的”。例如:
His books are always so gripping. It turns hours into seconds.
4. Do you think dream will affect life?
Well, I have to admit, although dreams are not real, sometimes they do have an impact on our lives. For me, when I’m exhausted or stressed out, I tend to have a hard time telling dreams and reality apart, especially when I have dreams that are closely related to my daily life.
And also, some people are superstitious, I mean, they believe that certain dreams have particular meanings, for example, when you dream that you are buying jewelry, that means your marriage is on the rocks. So that kind dreams might actually change people’s behavior in reality.
Superstitious means believing in superstition (the belief that particular events happen in a way that cannot be explained by reason or science; the belief that particular events bring good or bad luck)例如:
superstitious beliefs
I’m superstitious about the number 13.
On the rocks: a relationship or business that is on the rocks is having difficulties and is likely to fail soon. 例如:
Sue’s marriage is on the rocks.
A practical skill
I’d like to describe a skill I learned, which is to edit songs on computer by using the software, called cool edit.
I love singing, so a skill to edit songs is very practical and important for me. I first heard about it when I was eleven years old. When I was surfing the internet, a net friend told me about this software. I began to learn how to use at once by watching many online classes about it. Soon I can record my voice on the computer and after a lot of practice; I can edit many audio files perfectly. For example, I sang a song named “take me away”, after being edited, it sounds just like the original singer’s singing. It is amazing, because I can even change a girl’s voice into a boy’s voice.
I like to play with it in my spare time, so my skill has improved a lot. When I told my friends about it, all of them were really impressed.

In your country, who would ask children to read, schools or parents?
In our country, parents usually ask their children to read books. The traditional Chinese education culture encourage parents as the first teacher for children. In childhood, parents read books before their children go to bed. Therefore, children are gradually being affected to read.

I can always find what I want to see in e-books. Third, the cost of e-books is very low. Usually, paper books are more expensive than e-books, which are not good for people who often purchase books.
Do you think printed books will continue to exist?
Yes. E-books will disappear due to power failure or failure. However, printed books will always exist whatever there is electricity. The printed book is very memorable because it is like an album that records past memories and notes.

Do you think parents should continue reading?
I think parents should continue reading. First, parent could expand new concepts rely on reading. Because sometimes the idea that parents used to know is out of date. Second, reading is a learning process, and parents will learn new skills through reading.
What kind of books do children read?
Children love comic books. Because there are more pictures than words in the comic book, children prefer those pictures. And the content of comic books is simple, and there is no complex thinking.

And explain why you would like to replace it.
范文
I have a sports watch that I use to monitor my heart rate and also help me record my fitness activities. It is a bit old and outdated now, so it's time for something newer and more up to date. Sports watches that regulate your have become wildly popular these days and everyone should have one. They keep you disciplined and aware of your own , which is vitally important.
I use the watch to count the step I take each day and keep tabs on my heart rate and other exercise related data. It gives me a report and then suggests ways I can tweak my exercise routine. I have come to rely on this watch to keep me slim and trim. If it weren’t for this watch I think I would be chubby and out of shape and certainly out of breath!
I have had this watch for about two years, and even though that's not a great deal of time, in terms of this type of technology, it is long enough. Technology changes with the wind and it's important to keep abreast of these advances.
I fancy a newer sports watch with a sleeker design and all the modern bells and whistles. Recently, the market has been flooded with lighter and faster watches with the latest monitoring technology. I want a bright red one that beeps and flashes and keeps me in tip top shape.
