I prefer a quiet environment rather than an environment with some sounds or even noise. I guess this is mainly because of my personal character. I'm a bit inner going and quiet; a tranquil environment can always makes me relaxed and concentrate on my work or study more easily.

Answer
Well, I should say any sounds from nature, like chirping of birds, echo in the valley or sound of flowing water will cheer me up.I guess I like the sound of flowing water as if the flowing water could take away all the sorrows, pains or depressions in our life.
