瓦薩沉船博物館

瓦薩沉船博物館位于瑞典斯德哥爾摩，所建地就是在瓦薩號(hào)戰(zhàn)船的打撈遺址上，瓦薩號(hào)是在1628年首航時(shí)不幸遭遇強(qiáng)風(fēng)，在距離港口僅2公里處沉沒，是世界上唯一保存完好的17世紀(jì)的戰(zhàn)船。

沉船打撈過程

博物館里除了對(duì)于船只本身的介紹，更多的是關(guān)于打撈過程的解密。要知道，直到1961年，這艘在水底沉睡了333年的戰(zhàn)船又重新露出水面。

關(guān)于沉船的打撈過程，博物館里有這樣兩段介紹，

The mud was removed from the decks with frames and spray nozzles, washing it down into the bottom of the hull. As the mud and silt flowed away, it revealed an astonishing array of artefacts lying heaped on the decks.

Thousands of tons of mud and water had to be pumped out of the hull to refloat it, and the ship had to be moved onto a pontoon of its own, where it could be excavated and conserved. Archaeologists had to come on board to excavate the interior, and conservators had to begin the arduous process of treating the ship so it would not shrink and crack.
