朋友間的爭執(zhí)

Describe an argument two of your friends had You should say:

When it was

What the argument was about How it was solved

And how you felt about it

I remember the greatest argument that two of my friends had happened in grade 10 in high school, we had a design competition on school-wide, and five of us formed the team since we were in the same club.

Our teacher supervisor assisted us in building on the design project in that club. We had time together to work on that project, and that project actually took us about two weeks after school. The design competition is about designing a car that we compete with other teams to see who is the fastest. The argument began when we just decided on the final design concept, we started working on it. One of my friends in the team suddenly popped up a totally new idea, which is far more different from what we began to do. So the other friend in my group thought we should keep working on the original idea since he has already done most stuff that he was required to do. So basically, this debate was about two teammates talking about the picture, but the only problem is the timing. I believe that the first friend who popped up with the idea was aiming to make our design concept to be better, from that second friend also has his reason for not agreeing with that. so finally, it turns out that we didnt actually change the plan; we almost used the original plan, where is a little bit of add-on from the second plan that just popped up.

I would say it is not something that emotional related. It is more about we all want you to make the product were doing to become better without doing more work. I think as long as we both have the same goal for something, its all good to have any argument.

Part3

Do you think argument is important?

I think the argument is very important in daily life, like almost everything, including life, working and studying. So lets talk about life first. We are usually dealing with different people with different problems. I think the argument starts in different ways. One could be having two ideas and judging which one is better, while sometimes you have to fight for your own benefit. Sometimes you are pushed to argue with others, making life much easier to make things clear. Lets talk about work and study together. On both of these occasions, people in a group try to make things better, so having an argument or debate actually makes the ideas pop up and helps the project become better.

What do you family members usually have arguments about?

We do not actually have much argument in my family. The only thing I think I will argue with my parents is the education of my brother, my little brother. Since I think children should go outside and play on the field, but my mom told me that children are studying all the time, and this situation is for almost every student in my brothers class. So basically, my mom doesnt want my brother to work this hard, but occasionally it is something that cannot

change in a short time. Other than this, we are all really caring, loving family with very little, little amount of arguments.

Is it easier for you to have arguments with your family or with your friends?

I dont really have many arguments with people around me, either my parents, my brothers and sisters, my friends or even strangers. I think I am easygoing and someone who is willing to help others, so it is also hard for me to start an argument with others just because I dont want to do it. Besides, I think everything can be explained and reach a consensus by gently talking to each other, so I dont see something must be solved by arguing.

Do you think people should change the way they think when having arguments?

Yeah, definitely. Having an argument means two or more of you guys dont hold the same opinion on something so you guys cannot agree with each other. Solving the problem means at least some of you guys change their minds or combine their ideas together to form a new idea. In either way, that people definitely change the way they think.
