1.Why do some people prefer buying expensive things?

I believe thats because some people associate price with best quality, although its not always the case that if you buy one thing with a hefty price tag, youll always get the excellent quality. Thats the mentality of some people, however, we cant blame them anyway, since its been proven that most cheap things wont last long. As for me, Id rather buy one expensive thing that will be usable for a long period of time than spending on buying a low-priced item that is not durable. I think that way is more economical and that I believe has made people choose to buy expensive things over cheap ones.

譯文：我覺得這是因為有些人將價格與最佳質(zhì)量相關(guān)聯(lián)，盡管并非總是貴就好。這就是某些人的心態(tài)，但是我們也不能怪他們，因為事實說明大多數(shù)便宜的東西用不了很久。對我而言，我寧愿買一種可以長期使用的昂貴物品，也不愿買不耐用的便宜貨。我認為這種方式更經(jīng)濟，這讓人們選擇購貴的而不是便宜的。
