Some scientists believe that intelligent life forms may exist on other planets and some want to send message to contact them. Others think il is a bad idea because these life forms may be too dangerous. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. (20161013)

The issue of whether human beings should look for and make contact with intelligent life forms in outer space has caused heated debate. From my point of view, I believe that by making contact, this may bring about the destruction of Earth

With the development of current space technology there have always been experts in the field that have encouraged making contact. They believe that with the evel of modem technologies, such as space travel and astronomic observation, we are ready to make contact with life forms from other planets. This fact, that we are rapidly technologically advancing, pushes us closer to wanting to make the step to establishing a relationship with aliens. Also, some scholars claim that at the rate humans take from the Earth, very soon we will run out of the natural resources we need to survive. By further exploring outer space and making contact with aliens, we can significantly improve our technology for nterplanetary travel and altemative energy resources

However, humans looking for life on other planets seems to be an unwise move for the Earth. Firstly, the environmental conditions on other planets can be a problem for humans, but also they may be scientifically and technologically advanced far beyond what we are able to imagine. Then if, for example, they found something which was plentiful on our planet and of great value to them, but they lacked on theirs, it may be quite possible that star wars would go from science fiction to reality. Furthermore their cutting-edge technology and weaponry may put us at a disadvantage. We only need to look at our own history to see that the first contact with other civilisations was not always friendly meeting

Overall, human beings intentions towards aliens are cordial and friendly, but this does not mean they would respond with the same feeling. Considering, the current circumstances of our cognitive level of sclence, we should not attempt to make contact with aliens in the best interest of our own planet.

究竟人類是否應(yīng)當主動尋找并聯(lián)系外太空中的其他智能生命的話題在社會上引起了熱烈的討論。就我來說，我認為這樣做可能會帶來地球的毀滅。

隨著當今空間技術(shù)的發(fā)展，總有些專家提議聯(lián)系外星人。他們認為現(xiàn)代技術(shù)的發(fā)展水平已經(jīng)非常先進了，如字航技術(shù)和天體觀測技術(shù)，我們有把握和外星智能生命進行正面接觸。我們的技術(shù)突飛猛進這個事實進一步推動了與外星人建立聯(lián)系的想法。此外，也有一些學(xué)者認為考慮到目前的消耗速度，在不遠的將來我們賴以生存的資源也終將面臨枯竭。通過進一步尋找外太空的生命井與之聯(lián)系，我們才可以更好地發(fā)展空技術(shù)用于星際穿越或者可替代能源等目的。

但是，尋找外太空智能生命對地球來說不能說是一個明智的舉動。首先，不僅外星人所生活的環(huán)境對我們來說可能會是一個問題，而且他們所掌握的科技可能是超越人類認知的。比如，有可能在某些星球極其缺乏的某種元素或者材料在地球上卻很豐富，那么科幻小說中的星球大戰(zhàn)將極有可能變?yōu)槭聦?。此外，對方的尖端科技和武器也可能使我們處于劣勢。我們只需要看一下歷史就會明白，與其他文明的首次接觸并不都是非常友好的。

綜上所述，來自人類的邀請是非常友善的，但這不一定就意味著外星人的回應(yīng)也是友善的。以目前地球的科學(xué)認知水平來看，為了地球的最佳利益，我們不應(yīng)該試圖聯(lián)系外星人。

首先，不同于普通的科技類話題，外星人話題太邊緣化了很多考生用中文可能都寫不出來幾個句子。
