I think it is very important for everyone to learn how to cook. If you can cook, that means you are more independent than others who cant.

No matter whether you live with your parents or alone, you can still take good care of yourself. More practically, it can also help you save lots of money. Cooking yourself is much cheaper than dining out.

技術(shù)類技能

一般而言，技術(shù)類技能可以幫助我們更好的找工作，同時，它也可以是我們變得更加的受歡迎。除此以外，和工作、學(xué)習(xí)相關(guān)的技能可以高效的幫助我們提高學(xué)習(xí)效率; 和運動、藝術(shù)相關(guān)的技能則可以幫助我們放松以及緩解壓力。

Example one：Video-editing skill

I think video editing is a very important skill especially nowadays. I am really pleased I took it up, as there are many benefits. For example, it helped me get a part-time job. For the last month, I have been helping an online celebrity edit one or two of her daily vlogs and she pays me 500 yuan for each one.

Even though I am still a student, the extra money helps a lot. My parents are also proud that I am independent and making my own money.

Example two：Shorthand

I think shorthand is a very important skill not only for students but also for people who are working. It is a good way to improve efficiency. I used to be a slow writer and I always found it difficult to keep up in class.

Because of this, my grades dropped a lot and I panicked. Now I have learnt how to use it, school is less stressful. When the teachers talk quickly, I can write everything down without missing a word.

Example three：Flower arranging

I am really pleased I took up this hobby. It brings me a lot of joy and color everyday. It brightens my mood and leaves me feeling very positive. For example, last week, I was feeling really down and I was overwhelmed about my coming exam.

Then I started make a bouquet and the flowers gave me energy and the motivation to go on. I recommended this skill to all my friends.

Example ：First aid

I think first aid is a very useful life-saving skill to have because you can always help out in an emergency. Several months ago, my friend took part in a marathon but unfortunately he twisted his ankle.

Everybody started to panic, but I kept calm, checked him over and applied an iced water bottle to the injury. 10 mins later, the doctor came and complimented me for what I had done to reduce his pain. I felt really proud of myself.

I think it is an invaluable skill that is worth learning. It helps you avoid financial problems like making bad investments or taking out high interest loans. It also teaches you the importance of having a nest egg 有儲蓄 and putting money away for a rainy day 存錢以備不時之需.

For example, when the coronavirus outbreak 冠狀病毒爆發(fā) happened, many people lost their jobs or had their hours reduced. For these people, it was a tough period, as they didnt have anything to fall back on 求助, but for people who had put away some savings, it wasnt such a worry.

自我意識能力類技能

自我意識類技能的重要性體現(xiàn)在自我管理上，這類技能可以幫你緩解壓力 ，同時讓你取得更多。

Example ：How to meditate

I think it is a very important skill for all of us to learn, as it really helpsalleviate 緩解 stress. I used to easily get distracted and would find difficult to focus on individual tasks.

However, everything changed when I learnt how to meditate 冥想. Now I can manage my time well and accomplish all my tasks, because my mind is no longer cluttered 凌亂的.

人際關(guān)系類技能

人際關(guān)系類技能的重要性體現(xiàn)在高效交流和交友上，這類技能可以幫你更好的表達(dá)自己的想法，同時也會幫你獲得更多的朋友。

Example ：Communication skills

I think communication skills are vital. Not only for business, but also for everyday life. In the past, I didnt know how to talk to others effectively and a lot of the time my message was lost, but now, I think I am good at being clear. As a result, conversations are lot smoother.
