I find it very time-consuming to take notes with a pen in class, so I often type things on my computer, which is actually a part of the way I study, and it gives me more options to organize my documents and review my notes.

Certainly,handwriting is beneficial for a long term memory of ideas, facts, and conceptual information, so if you need to remember something, write it. Also, as the saying goes-the style is the man, which means that we can probably tell a persons personality from his or her handwriting. On top of it, when I type on my computer, sometimes I get pulled away by an incoming email or a pop-in advert. Not so with handwriting, were less likely to get distracted and far more likely to focus on the writing itself.

Typing of course! Its easy to type, and I dont have to worry about spelling. Also, typing helps in editing stages. Its far easier to revise passages, splice two documents together, or rearrange entire chapters. Not so much with a handwritten piece.
