高頻題目
01. What is the importance of obeying rules ?
As we all know, its extremely important to obey rules since people are living in a society with others. Without rules, our society cant function well and probably become a big mess. Obeying rules can keep our society in a good order and it brings benetits to everyone. For example, in public places like train stations, there must be some rules that everyone shouldnt break With everyones obeying rules there, the tire train station works effectively and efficiently If most people there dont care about rules, the train station will be in chaos. Specifically many passengers dont know where they can catch their trains and people s baggage cant be checked for security. No one can gain any benefits from those disorders.
02. How to teach children to obey rules?
To teach children to obey rules, we should set up rules first, which could be much better than simply telling children what to do only by words. At home, parents should set up some rules and require children to obey them. Once children break a rule, they should be punished appropriately. Day by day, those rules will work and childrens wrong behaviours will gradually be corrected. At school, there are many rules set by teachers. Both awards and punishments are effective methods to teach schoolchildren how to obey rules. The rule awareness of children will be established step by step With sufficient rule awareness, children will obey rules all the time even when they grow up.
03. What kind of punishment is suitable for children who do not obey rules?
For teaching children how to obey rules, punishment is irreplaceable and choosing the appropriate punishment is something far more important. If a child breaks a rule for the first time, the punishment shouldnt be serious. An oral warning is enough. However, if he/she breaks the same rule again, what he/she deserves must be something more severe. An example is that he/she can be asked to write a self-criticism with 500 words. If the child breaks a rule over and over again, the severe punishment should be given to him/her. The child can be grounded, or his/herpocket money can be cut down. By the way, whatever he/she does, by no means is the physical punishment a good choice.
04. Should children get involved in rule-making at school?
Definitely yes, in most schools of my country, rules are set up by teachers only. To a great extent, teachers usually ignore the opinions of students when they make the rules. In another way to say, most rules in school are teacher-centred. They set up rules in order to manage the school easily and conveniently. Thats why many rules in schools of my country are quite unintelligible. For example, after school, no students are allowed to stay in school and all of them should go home as soon as possible. The basketball courts and football fields will be closed at that time. The reason is simple, fairly simpleall teachers want to go home immediately after school.
