很多學(xué)生希望之后可以當(dāng)醫(yī)生，但美國本科階段能申請(qǐng)醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)嗎？答案可能會(huì)令不少同學(xué)失望，因?yàn)樵诿绹^大部分醫(yī)學(xué)院和法學(xué)院，都僅針對(duì)碩士及以上學(xué)位提供，即便少數(shù)大學(xué)開放給本科生，也只針對(duì)有身份的學(xué)生。
有位持有加拿大籍的學(xué)生咨詢過申請(qǐng)美國醫(yī)科專業(yè)本碩連讀的要求，學(xué)校回復(fù)郵件具體如下：

Seven-Year Liberal Arts/Medical Education Program (Early Decision not available)

Here is some general information about the Accelerated Medical Program and the Pre-Medicine program, both of which are available through the College of Arts and Sciences. Please note that medical school in the United States is a graduate level program. A student must first complete a bachelor's degree before applying to medical school in the US. If you have already completed a bachelor's degree and are looking to apply to the Boston University Graduate School of Medicine, please get in touch with that school directly to learn how to apply.

The Pre-Professional Scholars Program in Medicine requires eight years: four years of successful undergraduate study leading to the bachelor’s degree followed by four years in the University Program of the School of Medicine.
Pre-Professional Scholars in Medicine are free to choose from among all of the degree and major programs offered in the university, but must complete the courses in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics/statistics, and behavioral sciences listed in the Conditions of Admission letter they received when accepted to the program.
凱斯西楚大學(xué)的PPSP沒有身份限制，但是每年僅錄取十幾個(gè)申請(qǐng)人，且讀完需要八年時(shí)間。

塔夫茨大學(xué)的的醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)（Early Assurance Program）每年招收四五十人，需要在大二時(shí)內(nèi)部申請(qǐng)，必須有美國身份才有資格。
在美國本科階段，有極個(gè)別學(xué)校開設(shè)提前招收或是本碩連讀的醫(yī)科專業(yè)，但是不同學(xué)校開設(shè)的項(xiàng)目和招生要求都不相同，相同的是招收人數(shù)都非常有限，競爭激烈程度可想而知。
