The programme will help students master the latest computer technologies, as well as the fundamental theories and practices of computer science.
Students wishing to enter the University of Malaya's Master of Computer Science programme must meet certain academic requirements. Firstly, students must possess a bachelor's degree, which must include at least one computer science related course, and must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.75 (grade point average). In addition, applicants must also submit a complete research proposal, as well as proof of English writing proficiency, i.e. TOEFL or IELTS scores.
