如果推薦人是工作主管,首先一定要仔細陳述申請人的工作職責,并對申請者的工作表現(xiàn)做一評估。如果可能的話盡量列舉實例。
“when (name) held the position of (job title) in this company she was one s/he was one of my best employees. his/her job responsibilities included (describe them), and s/he carried out his/her duties with exceptional skill and professionalism.”

第二段最后一段:可以提及申請人在班上(或公司里)的比較表現(xiàn)(譬如排名):
“i was rate (name)’s academic ability as in the top 10% of his/her class.”
申請失敗的推薦信,一般存在以下三個問題:
1、絕大多數(shù)推薦信實際上是學生自己撰寫的,只要讓推薦人大筆一揮,簽上名字即可。
2、反正所有人的推薦信里都會夸夸其談,說被推薦人是如何如何優(yōu)秀,我只要一樣照做就好了。
3、推薦信只是個形式,外國大學要不要錄取我,還是要看我的考試分數(shù)說了算。
