老GRE閱讀從篇幅上分有長(zhǎng)文章和短文章；而在新GRE閱讀中不但保留原來的長(zhǎng)文和短文，還增加了只有一到四句話的超短文章，稱之為微文。微文雖然微小，但極具邏輯。試看下例（新GRE官方指南P71）：
