The skill I am going to tell you is time management.It is the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent on specific activities,especially to increase effectiveness,efficiency and productivity.It involves a juggling act of various demands upon a person relating to work,social life,personal interests and so on with the finiteness of time.

我要告訴你的技能是時(shí)間管理，即有意識(shí)的規(guī)劃和控制用于每項(xiàng)活動(dòng)的時(shí)間，以提升有效性、效率和生產(chǎn)力。它涉及在有限的時(shí)間里如何有效滿(mǎn)足一個(gè)人對(duì)于工作、社交生活以及個(gè)人興趣的各項(xiàng)要求。

For somebody,time management is quite a natural thing.They do not even realize they are doing this in their everyday life.However,for me,acquiring this skill was pretty challenging.I did not have the habit of planning things and allocating appropriate time to various tasks.As a result,at the end of the day,I often found I had squandered my time and had not completed anything.

對(duì)于一些人來(lái)說(shuō)，時(shí)間管理是件很自然的事情。他們甚至沒(méi)有意識(shí)到自己在日常生活中這樣子做。但對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)，獲得這項(xiàng)技能很有挑戰(zhàn)性。我沒(méi)有規(guī)劃事情以及為不同任務(wù)分配合適時(shí)間的習(xí)慣。這樣一來(lái)，一天結(jié)束之后，我經(jīng)常發(fā)現(xiàn)自己荒廢了時(shí)間，沒(méi)有完成任何事情。

Realizing this problem,I turned to my grandpa for advice.He used to be a Chinese teacher in the public school,and after retirement,he had founded a successful company that provided after-school crammers.This article is from Laokaoya website.He was always highly organized and efficient.He said time management could be achieved through four procedures,which are creating an environment conducive to effectiveness,setting priorities and goals,elimination of non-priorities,and implementation of goals.I should say,after his guidance,my efficiency did improve a lot.

意識(shí)到這個(gè)問(wèn)題，我向我爺爺尋求建議。他曾經(jīng)是公立學(xué)校的語(yǔ)文老師，退休之后成立了一家提供課外輔導(dǎo)的公司。他非常有條理，也很高效。他說(shuō)時(shí)間管理可以通過(guò)四個(gè)步驟實(shí)現(xiàn)：創(chuàng)造高效的環(huán)境，設(shè)立有限目標(biāo)，消除不必要的事情，以及規(guī)劃實(shí)現(xiàn)目標(biāo)的步驟。在他的指導(dǎo)下，我的效率確實(shí)提升了許多。

I think time management is important because it is the key to success.It allows me to take control of my life rather than following the flow of others.With this skill,I can accomplish more tasks and acquire more knowledge every day,gaining me an advantage over my peers

我認(rèn)為時(shí)間管理很重要，因?yàn)樗浅晒Φ年P(guān)鍵。它讓我可以控制自己的生活，而不是隨波逐流。有了這項(xiàng)技能，我每天可以完成更多的任務(wù)，獲取更多的知識(shí)，讓我相比于同齡人而言更有優(yōu)勢(shì)。
