I would like to talk about a time I saw a funny little girl while I was shopping at a bookstore in Chaoyang District,Beijing.

我想要講到的是一個(gè)我在北京朝陽(yáng)區(qū)的一個(gè)書(shū)店購(gòu)物時(shí)遇到的一位搞笑的小女孩兒的事情。

I can’t remember the exact date when I visit there,but I am sure that it’s after the last Spring Festival,probably in the second week or the fourth week of the lunar new year.

我不太記得我去那里的準(zhǔn)確時(shí)間了，但是我很確信的是過(guò)了上個(gè)春節(jié)之后，大概就是在農(nóng)歷新年的第三或者是第四周。

I was at the Guomaotushu,which was one of the biggest bookstores in that district.You know this bookstore had quite an array of books in different disciplines,which was why I often go there to find something I that needed for both my schoolwork and leisure That day was a little bit interesting because there were way more novels and cartoon booklets on sale at the main hall.Because of this,the bookstore had gathered lots of readers there.I was not an exception and got into the crowd and started reading some of those books.

我當(dāng)時(shí)在Guomaotushu,是那個(gè)區(qū)最大的圖書(shū)館之一。這個(gè)圖書(shū)館內(nèi)有非常多的涉及不同領(lǐng)域的書(shū)籍，這也是為什么我一般去那里找一些與我學(xué)習(xí)或者娛樂(lè)相關(guān)的東西。那天有點(diǎn)意思，因?yàn)榇髲d有特別多的小說(shuō)和卡通書(shū)冊(cè)在售賣(mài)。由于這個(gè)原因，書(shū)店聚集了特別多的人。我也不是一個(gè)例外，然后加入了人群開(kāi)始閱讀這些書(shū)籍。

It was during that time,I saw a little girl,around six or seven years old,with her father looking for some books.The girl picked up a book to read,and little did I know that it was a small book of dirty jokes.Just as I was about to leave,I heard that girl asking her dad:“What’s the meaning of XXX?”The last word she blurted out was so erotic and somewhat nasty.I was literally about to laugh out loud.The thing was that there were several readers near us,and all of them started quietly chuckling,which made the situation quite hilarious.

就在那個(gè)時(shí)候，我看見(jiàn)了一為小女孩，大約六七歲的樣子，和她的爸爸一起在尋找一些書(shū)籍。那位小女孩撿起一本書(shū)就開(kāi)始閱讀，我當(dāng)時(shí)完全不知道那是一本帶有黃色笑話的小人書(shū)。我正當(dāng)離開(kāi)的時(shí)候，我聽(tīng)到那個(gè)女孩問(wèn)她爸爸：“XXX是什么意思?”。她那最后脫口而出的一個(gè)單詞非常色情還有點(diǎn)污。我當(dāng)時(shí)簡(jiǎn)直就要笑噴了。關(guān)鍵是，周?chē)€有一些讀者們，他們?nèi)慷记魄菩α似饋?lái)，這讓當(dāng)時(shí)的場(chǎng)景十分滑稽。

Well,the reason why I laughed was that this situation made her father difficult to give an explanation to his daughter.You know,this innocent girl actually knew nothing about the word,nor did she understand that dirty joke,but all of us nearby actually did.And if the girl knew it as well,I think that would be even more embarrassing.

我當(dāng)時(shí)為什么會(huì)笑的原因就是這個(gè)情景讓他父親給他女兒聽(tīng)會(huì)非常為難。這位無(wú)辜的女兒其實(shí)完全不懂這個(gè)詞，也不理解這個(gè)黃色笑話，但是我們身邊大家都懂。而且，如果女兒也知道了的話，我覺(jué)得那會(huì)更尷尬了。
