The rapid increase in the world population has led to many problems around the world.One of them is the widespread unemployment due to the scarcity of job opportunities.Nowadays,older people are competing with the younger ones for the same jobs,which has caused problems for both segments of the population.I will discuss these problems and suggest viable solutions in the following paragraphs.
世界范圍內(nèi)人口的快速增長導(dǎo)致了許多問題。其中就有因?yàn)楣ぷ鳈C(jī)會(huì)有限而造成的廣泛存在的失業(yè)。如今,老年人不得不跟年輕人競(jìng)爭(zhēng)同樣的工作,這給雙方都帶來問題。我會(huì)在接下來的段落里討論這些問題并給出可行的解決方案。

Firstly,the main problem that has arisen due to this phenomenon is that young graduates find it arduous to look for a job that will kick start their careers.Most job openings,these days,require a certain amount of experience that young graduates do not have.Older people are experienced in their fields and grab those jobs with ease leaving many younger people unemployed and,consequently,depressed.For example,an opening for an accountant would require a minimum of 5 years experience and this would most definitely be taken by someone older who is looking to switch jobs for a better opportunity or who has changed cities,and a young accountant with no or less experience would be deprived of a good job opportunity.
首先,這一現(xiàn)象會(huì)是的年輕的畢業(yè)生找工作開啟自己的職業(yè)生涯十分困難。如今,大多數(shù)工作崗位都要求一定的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn),而年輕的畢業(yè)生恰恰缺乏經(jīng)驗(yàn)。老年人在他們的領(lǐng)域里經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富,因此能輕易獲得這些工作,導(dǎo)致許多年輕人失業(yè),并進(jìn)而沮喪。例如,會(huì)計(jì)崗位要求最低五年工作經(jīng)驗(yàn),而它幾乎必然會(huì)由那些想要換工作或者移居其他城市的老年人獲得。而沒有經(jīng)驗(yàn)或者工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)較少的年輕會(huì)計(jì)師會(huì)失去良好的工作機(jī)會(huì)。

Likewise,some jobs are tailor-made for the younger ones and older people find it hard to secure these jobs.For instance,work requiring up to date knowledge of the latest technology and gadgets is suitable for younger people,and older people,understandably,would fail to get such a job.Therefore,an older person who has done work in the IT industry throughout his life would be left unemployed,if he were to get laid off late in his career.This phenomenon has resulted in saturation of the job market,particularly,for young graduates.

I believe that certain steps need to be taken in order to alleviate this problem of unemployment and competition for a limited number of jobs.Firstly,companies should ensure job security for every employee and older and younger people,alike,should not be fired without a valid reason.This will serve to decrease the number of people seeking jobs.Moreover,young graduates should not have to compete with experienced old workers for jobs.A good number of jobs should be exclusively made available for inexperienced young graduates so that they can start building their careers easily.Additionally,governments should increase their efforts to provide employment to older people who were laid off for any unforeseeable reason like the covid pandemic.This will decrease the strive between the younger and older population for the same jobs.
我認(rèn)為可以采取特定的措施來緩解這一失業(yè)與競(jìng)爭(zhēng)問題。首先,公司應(yīng)該確保其每一位員工的工作安全。沒有確切原因的話,不能開除老年人和年輕人。這會(huì)降低尋找工作的人數(shù)。其次,年輕畢業(yè)生不應(yīng)該跟有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的老年工作者競(jìng)爭(zhēng)同樣的工作。應(yīng)該提供大量的,只為沒有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的年輕人設(shè)置的工作,以便他們能夠輕易開啟自己的職業(yè)生涯。此外,政府應(yīng)該努力為視野的老年人提供工作崗位。這會(huì)降低老年人和年輕人之間的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)。

In conclusion,I would like to reiterate that the increasing number of older people competing for the same job as younger people has led to unfavourable outcomes for the younger population in certain scenarios and for the older population in certain scenarios.All of this could be solved if companies devise a plan to allocate certain jobs exclusively for young graduates and others for older people seeking employment.
總的來說,我想再次重申,老年人與年輕人競(jìng)爭(zhēng)工作崗位會(huì)給雙方帶來不好的結(jié)果。而如果公司將特定的職位只分配給年輕人,并將其他的分配給老年人,這一問題就可以得到解決。
