It is irrefutable that because of the advances in telecommunication technology and travel,today’s person can live and work in any part of the globe.The advantages of this definitely outweigh the disadvantages.In the following paragraphs,I shall put forth my arguments to support my views.

無(wú)可爭(zhēng)議的是，因?yàn)橥ㄐ偶夹g(shù)和交通方式的進(jìn)步，今天的人們可以在世界任何地方居住和工作。這一現(xiàn)象的好處絕對(duì)大于其壞處。在接下來(lái)的段落里，我將給出論據(jù)以支撐我的觀點(diǎn)。

遠(yuǎn)程工作的好處

There are many advantages of being able to live and work from anywhere.First of all,people have more choices of jobs because of technological advances.Not only can they work in any part of your home country,but they can also work for any company in any part of the world by telecommuting.Secondly,modern wireless technology has made work easier and created more time for self and family.What is more,people can lessen their work hours and still do their work more efficiently.Another advantage is that people can manage more than one work at a time.This is the need of the day as inflation is touching the sky and people need to earn more and more.

在任意地方工作和生活有許多好處。首先，因?yàn)榧夹g(shù)進(jìn)步，人們?cè)诠ぷ鞣矫鎿碛懈嗟倪x擇。他們不僅可以在自己國(guó)家的任意地方工作，而且還可以通過(guò)通信技術(shù)在世界任何地方的任意一家公司工作。其次，現(xiàn)代無(wú)限技術(shù)使得工作更為簡(jiǎn)單，讓人們有更多的時(shí)間留給自己和家人。第三，人們可以減少自己的工作時(shí)間，但仍然高效的工作。另一項(xiàng)優(yōu)勢(shì)是，人們可以同時(shí)做不止一項(xiàng)工作。由于過(guò)高的通貨膨脹，這正是當(dāng)今時(shí)代的要求。

發(fā)達(dá)交通的好處

Furthermore,the modern transportation modes like the metro and light rail have lessened the travel time and also made it more convenient for commuters.This has also decreased the need for people to live in the cities to do jobs because now it is possible to work in cities and come back to the peaceful countryside in the evenings.This has decreased the overcrowding of cities which was making cities unbearable to live in.

此外，諸如地鐵和輕軌這樣的現(xiàn)代交通方式縮短了出行時(shí)間，也讓通勤變得更加方便。這降低了人們居住在城市中的需求，因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在可以在城市中工作，然后晚上的時(shí)候回到寧?kù)o的郊外。這減輕了城市的擁擠程度。

這兩點(diǎn)的壞處

On the downside,this is leading to a sedentary lifestyle as people don’t need to travel.Another disadvantage is that people become so dependent on technology that any network failure may lead life to come to a standstill.Nevertheless,I still believe that these minor disadvantages are of no importance if we look at the plethora of advantages this situation has to offer.

缺點(diǎn)方面，因?yàn)槿藗儾恍枰鲂校@一現(xiàn)象導(dǎo)致靜態(tài)的生活方式。另一項(xiàng)缺點(diǎn)是，人們過(guò)于依賴科技，以至于任何網(wǎng)絡(luò)故障都可能導(dǎo)致生活停擺。然而，我仍然認(rèn)為與這一現(xiàn)象所帶來(lái)的好處相比，這種小缺陷不重要。

To put it in a nutshell,I pen down saying that,people can live and work anywhere today and this situation is more of a boon than a bane.
