I’d like to share an experience I had when I was starting to learn French in college about two years ago.

我想分享一個(gè)我兩年前準(zhǔn)備在大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)法語(yǔ)的經(jīng)歷。

You know,French wasn’t a course in our school until I entered college.I guess it was probably because there was an increasing need for students to learn that.For this reason,our school administration decided to open this course as an elective.But,there was only one French teacher available in our school who had to teach four different classes.The entire French learning time during that academic year was actually not that enough.

直到我上大學(xué)那會(huì)兒，我們學(xué)校才開(kāi)設(shè)法語(yǔ)課程。我猜是因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)法語(yǔ)的需求在逐漸增加。出于這個(gè)原因，我們學(xué)校的管理者決定開(kāi)設(shè)一門(mén)法語(yǔ)選修課。但是，當(dāng)時(shí)我們學(xué)校只有一位法語(yǔ)老師有空，她要同時(shí)教授四個(gè)不同的班級(jí)。在那一整個(gè)學(xué)年的法語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間其實(shí)是不夠的。

So,I had to seek other methods to polish my French language skills.And,one crazy thing I did was to find an international student from France on our campus as a language partner.It took me about a week to find a guy who was willing to do so.We normally have a meet-up biweekly as both of us were quite busy at school.When we got together,this article is from Laokaoya website,we usually grabbed some food at the nearby cafe and spent a whole afternoon chatting.He taught me whatever he could about things in French,and I helped him improve his Chinese.Even when the covid happened,we didn’t stop.We just moved our conversation online.

所以，我不得不找其它法子來(lái)提升我的語(yǔ)言技能。我做的一件比較瘋狂的事情就是在學(xué)校找一位法國(guó)的留學(xué)生當(dāng)做語(yǔ)伴。我花費(fèi)了大概一周的時(shí)間找到了一個(gè)愿意這樣做的小哥。由于我們?cè)趯W(xué)校都比較忙，所以我們會(huì)每?jī)芍芘雒嬉淮?。?dāng)我們聚在一起的時(shí)候，我們會(huì)去周邊的咖啡廳吃點(diǎn)東西，然后閑聊一個(gè)下午。他會(huì)盡可能用法語(yǔ)教我任何東西，我會(huì)幫助他來(lái)提升漢語(yǔ)。即便是疫情發(fā)生了，我們也沒(méi)有停下來(lái)。我們把我們的談話挪到了線上進(jìn)行。

Well,I think the biggest benefit I got from that experience was that I am now way more confident and fluent in striking up a French conversation than in the past.

我覺(jué)得我從那個(gè)經(jīng)歷中獲得的最大回報(bào)就是我比以前能夠更加流利且自信地用法語(yǔ)談話了。

I’m grateful that I got this opportunity to learn French.You know,not everyone can have that chance to find a partner like this to practice a foreign language.

我也很感激我有這么一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)法語(yǔ)。要知道，并非每個(gè)人都能夠有這么一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)去找個(gè)語(yǔ)伴來(lái)練習(xí)一門(mén)外語(yǔ)。
