It is true that well-known people’s association with global aid programmes can have a serious impact on society.Some people believe that the reputation of these individuals can overshadow the cause they are working for.However,I believe that the support of celebrities will create public awareness about the problems that need to be dealt with.

名人與國際援助組織的聯(lián)系對社會(huì)有著巨大影響。一些人認(rèn)為這些人的聲譽(yù)會(huì)掩蓋相應(yīng)的理由。然而，我認(rèn)為名人的支持會(huì)提升公眾對需要解決的問題的認(rèn)識(shí)。

名人支持的好處

It is my strong belief that famous people’s association with international aid organisations can raise public awareness towards certain matters of importance.It is evident that they can positively influence their fans who can be encouraged to participate in charitable activities held by the organisations.For example,this is from Laokaoya website,some celebrities volunteer in developing countries such as Kenya and support disadvantaged local families.Due to this fact,many fans of these celebrities turn their attention to the problems such as poverty and engage themselves in voluntary work for a variety of global aid organisations.Therefore,famous people’s involvement in the organisations can certainly raise people’s awareness of global issues.

我強(qiáng)烈認(rèn)為名人與國際援助組織的關(guān)系會(huì)提升民眾對特定問題重要性的認(rèn)識(shí)。顯然，他們能夠影響自己的粉絲，鼓勵(lì)他們參與到這些組織舉辦的慈善活動(dòng)中。例如，一些名人會(huì)自愿前往諸如肯尼亞這樣的發(fā)展中國家，為貧困家庭提供支持。正因如此，這些明星的許多粉絲關(guān)注到這些貧困問題，并投身于各種各樣國際援助組織的志愿活動(dòng)中。因此，名人的參與無疑會(huì)提升人們對國際問題的認(rèn)識(shí)。

However,there is a commonly held view that celebrities can downplay the impact of problems.This is because people might perceive their contributions to international aid organisations as their business strategy to advertise themselves,and to gain more fame.For instance,numerous Hollywood movie stars engage themselves in voluntary work for international charities,but their endeavour is less likely to be appreciated due to misconceptions of the public.This can trivialize the problems.However,in my opinion,there are only a small group of people who do not appreciate celebrities’hard work.

然而，人們普遍認(rèn)為明星會(huì)降低這些問題的影響。這是因?yàn)槿藗兛赡軐⑺麄儗H援助組織的貢獻(xiàn)看作是他們自身為獲得更多名譽(yù)而采取的策略。例如，無數(shù)的好萊塢電影明星會(huì)從事國際慈善組織的志愿工作，但因?yàn)楣姷恼`解，他們的行為很少得到贊揚(yáng)。這會(huì)讓問題變得微不足道。然而，在我看來，只有少部分會(huì)不欣賞名人的努力。

In conclusion,although celebrities could take the focus off of the problems due to their popularity,my belief is that their contributions to international aid organisations can surely make problems noticed.
