Being a controversial subject among people,whether or not living in a private house outweighs being settled in an apartment,is not an easy decision.In this essay,the pros and cons of both these ways of living are going to be discussed.

作為有爭議的話題，究竟是居住在私人住宅中還是定居在公寓中并不是一個很容易的選擇。在本文中，我將討論這兩種生活方式的利弊。

People living in a house benefit their privacy as they do not have any neighbours in their place to share some areas like staircases or corridors.Besides,having a desirable garden could be a marked characteristic for individuals being interested in gardening and or providing a sufficient play area for their offspring and pets.Despite a variety of merits,possessing a house could embody some sort of difficulties ranging from low security to some extra maintaining expenses.

居住在房屋中的人們受益于他們的隱私，因為他們沒有任何鄰居共用樓梯或走廊等某些區(qū)域。此外，對于有興趣從事園藝活動或為后代和寵物提供足夠玩?？臻g的人來說，擁有一個理想的花園可能是其顯著特征。盡管有許多優(yōu)點，但擁有房屋可能會遇到從低安全性到額外的維護費用等一系列困難。

On the other hand,thanks to expanding the state-of-the-art lifestyle in the multitude of cities,especially the megacities,living in an apartment is going to be more convenient because of some advantages.The main merit is that living in an apartment contributes to being more secured in comparison with a house,as the inhabitants need to take care of just one entrance and building guards provide higher security for the owners,as well.Low independence feeling,however,could be mentioned as the most significant drawback of a flat in a building,particularly towers.

另一方面，由于在許多城市，尤其是大城市中現(xiàn)代生活方式的擴展，住在公寓里將更加方便。主要優(yōu)點是，與房屋相比，居住在公寓中的安全性更高，因為居民只需要照顧一個入口，保安也為業(yè)主提供了更高的安全性。但是，低獨立感是公寓，尤其是高層公寓的最大缺點。

In conclusion,all things considered,both circumstances of living possess their own plus and minus points.Nevertheless,I somewhat concur that due to the modern way of life in which plenty of people live,living in an apartment could be more profitable with regard to the level of security and lower cost of maintenance of the property and some probable repairing issues.

總之，考慮到所有事物，兩種情況都有各自的優(yōu)缺點。不過，我在某種程度上同意，由于現(xiàn)代人的生活方式，考慮到較高的安全性和更低的建筑物維護成本，居住在公寓中可能會更加有利一些。
