A time I got a special cake from others happened three years ago while I was a third-year student in my senior high school.

一次我收到特殊蛋糕的經歷發(fā)生在三年前。那會兒我還在高中讀高三。

I clearly remember it was in the afternoon of July 8th,which was the 100th anniversary of our school,that the administration of our school held a banquet to honour that meaningful day.

我清晰記得事情發(fā)生在七月八號，那時我們學校一百周年紀念日。當時，我們學校舉行了宴會來紀念那一天。

Out of my expectation,the school has ordered a gigantic birthday cake to celebrate.I was not sure if the size was big enough to break the Guinness World Record but it could feed almost all the guests at the event,which include hundreds of students,all faculty members,and lots of alumni.On the topper,there was a huge LOGO surrounded by our school name and a myriad of best wishes in both Chinese and English.

出乎我預料之外的的就是，我們學校訂做了一個超級大的蛋糕來慶祝。我不太確信這個蛋糕的尺寸是否打破了世界吉尼斯紀錄。但是，蛋糕大到足以照顧到在場的所有嘉賓，包括成百上千的學生、教職員工以及很多校友。在蛋糕頂層，有一個巨大的學校標志，同時有無數(shù)中英文的祝福語環(huán)繞在四周。

It was not a typical round cake,but a rectangle one which made it easier for more people to cut.I got a piece of the cake handed by my advisor.And,luckily,I was one of the few who got the cake with numbers.

蛋糕不是那種經典的圓形，而是矩形的，這就能夠讓更多的人可以更加輕松地切割蛋糕。我從我班主任那里接到了一塊。很幸運，我是少數(shù)拿到帶有數(shù)字的蛋糕的人。

Well,I think the biggest reason why it was a special cake was that this was the first time I received a cake to honour something that lasts for more than 100 years.Also,it was the biggest cake that I have ever seen in my life.So,I feel truly grateful that I had the opportunity to witness this meaningful event in my high school.

我覺得這個蛋糕很特別的主要原因就是那是我第一次收到的慶祝超過百年事件的蛋糕。另外，這也是我人生迄今為止看到的最大的一塊蛋糕。我很感激我能夠在高中有計劃見證這么一次有意義的事件。
