街市對于我們國家的考生來說還是比較熟悉的，而在其它一些國家，街市比較少見。所謂的街市可以是外面的賣美食小吃的小攤小販也可以是北方傳統(tǒng)的早市，也可以是那種專門在路邊擺攤賣文玩、手工藝品等等商品的市場。建議同學(xué)們在看到下面的題目之后，先給自己一些時間進(jìn)行口頭練習(xí)，最后再參考范文進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)。

What do people usually buy on the street market?為什么人們經(jīng)常在街市上買東西？

Well,people usually get some groceries such as fruits and snacks on the street market as the price is relatively competitive than those in the stores.Also,they would buy some handicrafts there because the craftsmen on the market can tailor them to their needs.

人們經(jīng)常在街市買一些百貨，例如水果或者零食，因為那里的價格相對店里更有競爭力。另外，他們還會在那里買一些手工藝品。因為，街市上的工匠們可以為他們量體裁衣。

Do you prefer to go shopping in the shopping mall or on the street market?你傾向于在購物商場買東西還是在街市買東西？

I’d rather go shopping in the shopping mall than on the street market.I know that the items sold by the street vendors are cheaper but I care about the quality the most,which is something they can’t always promise.So,the shopping mall is often my priority.

我更傾向于去購物中心購物而非是街市。我知道街上的商販賣的產(chǎn)品價格都比較低。但是，我更在意質(zhì)量，這個不是他們總是都能夠保證的。所以，購物中心經(jīng)常是我的首選之地。

When was the last time you went to a street market?你上一次去街市是什么時候？

Oh,that was long long ago.I remember it was about three years ago during the evening time after dinner.My parents and I were having a walk and saw a street market selling some good-looking Matryoshka dolls.I thought they were adorable and bought a set of them.

那時很久遠(yuǎn)的事情了。我記得大概是在三年前的一個晚餐之后的夜晚時間。我和我爸媽在散步然后發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個賣俄羅斯套娃的街市。我覺得它們很可愛于是就買下了一套。

Are there many street markets in China?中國有很多街市嗎？

Yes,there are.Usually,it’s quite common in small towns where there are fewer supermarkets to get easy access to.Street markets are very convenient in China for people to buy some groceries,so you don’t have to take buses or walk a long distance to get them.

是的，還是很多的。街市在去超市不方便的小鎮(zhèn)里是很常見的。在中國的街市，人們能夠很容易買到一些雜貨，所以你不必做公汽或者走很遠(yuǎn)的路去購買。
