Advertisement is dominant in people’s daily lives nowadays,with the high frequency of people having to see the same products or services over and over again.Some people think that this phenomenon is negative because it distorts people’s perspective on life.I completely agree with this statement.
由于人們以很高的頻率一遍遍觀看著相同的產(chǎn)品或服務,廣告在如今人們的生活中占據(jù)主導地位。一些人認為這一現(xiàn)象有害,因為它扭曲了人們對生活的看法,我完全同意。
廣告的好處
Admittedly,advertisements have certain benefits to modern lives.First of all,the purpose of a piece of advertisement is to deliver key information about a product to the public.This would assist a person in choosing a product,saving time for searching for the right product and potentially,money from overspending.Secondly,the advertising industry is getting more creative than ever,incorporating many current social issues in ads.Some people even consider advertisement nowadays as a form of entertainment,especially with commercials in the forms of short movies or music videos.
廣告確實對現(xiàn)代生活有著一定的好處。首先,一則廣告的目的是給公眾傳遞有關(guān)某一產(chǎn)品的關(guān)鍵信息。這能夠幫助人們選擇產(chǎn)品,節(jié)省挑選商品的時間以及過度消費的金錢。其次,廣告產(chǎn)業(yè)正變得越來越有創(chuàng)造力,在其中融入許多當代社會問題。一些人甚至認為當今的廣告是一種娛樂。尤其是以短電影或者音樂視頻等形式呈現(xiàn)的商業(yè)廣告。
廣告的壞處
However,I believe that the ubiquity of advertisement is distorting people’s perception of what is important in life.Seeing too many pieces of advertisement is thought by many experts to be the cause of excessive consumerism.People are encouraged by these ads to buy and own more stuff than needed.One consequence of this indulgence in buying new things is that people are buying more and they are also throwing out more stuff than ever,causing a burden on the environment.Another consequence of this phenomenon is that it makes younger generations become more superficial and only care about owning whatever’s considered popular.
然而,我認為廣告的普遍性扭曲了人們對生活中重要事項的認知。許多專家認為,觀看太多廣告是過度消費的原因。人們被這些廣告推動者購買并不需要的物品。這一對購買新東西放縱的一個后果是,人們買的越多,扔的也越多,對環(huán)境造成壓力。這一現(xiàn)象的另一后果是,它讓年輕一代變得更加膚淺,只關(guān)心流行事物。

In conclusion,although advertisement can introduce many benefits to its audience,I still think that the oversaturation of advertisement can bring negative impacts on individuals and society as a whole.
總的來說,雖然廣告能夠給它的觀眾帶來一些好處,但我仍然認為廣告的過度飽和對個人和社會有害。
