General Deion:

The response fulfills the demands of the task, with atmost minor lapses in completeness. It is highly intelligible and exhibitssustained, coherent discourse. A response at this level is characterized by allof the following.

Delivery:

Generally well-paced flow (fluid expression). Speechis clear. It may include minor lapses, or minor difficulties with pronunciationor intonation patterns, which do not affect intelligibility.

Language Use:

The response demonstrates effective use of grammar andvocabulary. It exhibits a fairly high degree of automat city with good controlof basic and complex structures (as appropriate). Some minor (or systemic)errors are noticeable but do not obscure meaning.

Topic Development:

Response is sustained and sufficient to the task. Itis generally well developed and coherent; relationships between ideas are clear(or clear progression of ideas).

General Deion:

The response addresses the task appropriately, but mayfall short of being fully developed. It is generally intelligible and coherent,with some fluidity of expression though it exhibits some noticeable lapses inthe expression of ideas. Speech is generally clear, with some fluidity ofexpression, though minor difficulties with pronunciation, intonation, or pacingare noticeable and may require listener effort at times (though overallintelligibility is not significantly affected).

Language Use:

The responsedemonstrates fairly automatic and effective use of grammar and vocabulary andfairly coherent expression of relevant ideas. Response may exhibit someimprecise or inaccurate use of vocabulary or grammatical structures used. Thismay affect overall fluency, but it does not seriously interfere with thecommunication of the message.

Topic Development:

Response is mostly coherent and sustained and conveysrelevant ideas information. Overall development is somewhat limited, usuallylacks elaboration or specificity. Relationships between ideas may at times notbe immediately clear.

Speech is basically intelligible, though listenereffort is needed because of unclear articulation, awkward intonation, or choppyrhythm pace; meaning may be obscured in places.

Language Use:

The response demonstrates limited range and control ofgrammar and vocabulary .These limitations often prevent full expression ofideas. For the most part, only basic sentence structures are used successfullyand spoken with fluidity. Structures and vocabulary may express mainly simple(short) and/or general propositions, with simple or unclear connections madeamong them (serial listing, conjunction, juxtaposition).

Topic Development:

The response is connected to the task, though thenumber of ideas presented or the development of ideas is limited. Mostly basicideas are expressed with limited elaboration (details and support). At timesrelevant substance may be vaguely expressed or repetitious. Connections ofideas may be unclear

Language Use:

Range and control of grammar and vocabulary severelylimit (or prevent) expression of ideas and connections among ideas. Some lowlevel responses may rely heavily on practiced or formulaic expressions.

Topic Development:

Limited relevant content expressed. The responsegenerally lacks substance beyond expression of very basic ideas. Speaker may beunable to sustain speech to complete task and may rely heavily on repetition ofthe prompt.

托??谡Z(yǔ)四點(diǎn)備考建議

一、語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)

提高語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)的方法是模仿。也是我們做的跟讀,所以在聽寫完一定要進(jìn)行跟讀訓(xùn)練,如果沒有時(shí)間做聽寫,那么跟讀也一樣要做。

關(guān)于模仿的材料:

首推TPO中的聽力部分,這是應(yīng)該把握的。再次是新概念、VOA,如果有時(shí)間可以看看美劇,記得看到有網(wǎng)友說模擬唱歌,有時(shí)間也可以試一試,至少不用那么枯燥了。我開始的時(shí)候跟讀新概念,每天三篇,每篇做到跟讀同步完成,一個(gè)月下來(lái),感覺發(fā)音好多了,以前我自己聽自己的發(fā)音都覺得不好意思。

對(duì)了,還有精通美語(yǔ)語(yǔ)音這本書也不錯(cuò)。

二、答題思路

我用的資料是機(jī)經(jīng)和高分120,主要是按機(jī)經(jīng)去練習(xí)的,用高分120的答題思路,即8個(gè)句子:1個(gè)論點(diǎn)、3個(gè)分論點(diǎn)1、3個(gè)分論點(diǎn)2和1個(gè)總結(jié)。剛開始時(shí)用這個(gè)做為參考,拿到一個(gè)題目,首先要提出自己的觀點(diǎn),一般在第一句直接提出,再闡述原因,注意一定避免中國(guó)式的含蓄和先說原因后說結(jié)論。然后再分出小點(diǎn)來(lái)論證自己的觀點(diǎn),注意一定要具體的例子支持你的觀點(diǎn)。例子的問題稍后詳談。

另外,口語(yǔ)的一二題可以配合獨(dú)立寫作一起練習(xí)。

三、如何舉例

托福備考說到舉例,大家都知道例子的重要性,如果沒有例子,那是大白話一篇了,美國(guó)人喜歡有論據(jù)支持你的論點(diǎn),這樣他才會(huì)覺得真實(shí)可信。

例子一定是具體的例子,不能是泛泛的。

比如你喜歡的一個(gè)地方。如果你說我喜歡大海,可以吹海風(fēng),曬太陽(yáng)、滑沙、滑草、潛水,還有各種水上運(yùn)動(dòng)等等,這些是不夠的,一定是具體的。比如,我?guī)缀趺磕甓既ィ衲旰图胰艘黄鹑サ?,在XX地方吃了海鮮,一起玩了XX水上運(yùn)動(dòng),跟弟弟一起出海打魚等等,這樣有說服力了。大家注意到了嗎?一定是有具體的人具體事。

四、如何在有效的控制時(shí)間

初練習(xí)時(shí),先寫出草稿,然后對(duì)著念,看能否在45秒內(nèi)完成。之后做調(diào)整,直到語(yǔ)速和長(zhǎng)度都合適的時(shí)候,一定做模擬練習(xí)。拿到題目后,15秒來(lái)用構(gòu)思框架和內(nèi)容以及語(yǔ)言的組織,45秒作答。

特別提醒:如果你沒有學(xué)習(xí)伙伴,一定要把你的回答錄下來(lái),然后聽聽有什么問題,再做有針對(duì)性的改進(jìn),直到滿意為止。想想我說成那樣我都錄了,你還怕什么……

五、特別重要的一點(diǎn):總結(jié)

這也是我剛開始忽視的一點(diǎn),后來(lái)重視了。收獲非常大。

不管是哪部分,一定要注意總結(jié),把不會(huì)的,不熟悉的一定要收集到一起,進(jìn)行復(fù)習(xí)。同時(shí)總結(jié)答題和復(fù)習(xí)規(guī)律,這些都一定要用心去做,相信一定會(huì)有收獲。

因?yàn)樾峦懈?谡Z(yǔ)考試采取是機(jī)考的形式,而電腦所充當(dāng)?shù)闹皇卿浺艄ぞ叩慕巧噍^于人力考官,機(jī)考的特點(diǎn)是更加的客觀與公正,但同樣是不能夠忽視機(jī)考的特殊性所帶來(lái)的難度提升,由于在相同的一個(gè)考場(chǎng)內(nèi),有許多考生都分別坐到電腦前做口語(yǔ)測(cè)試,相互之間的干擾、影響不可避免,這要求考生在備考時(shí)主動(dòng)尋求略微嘈雜的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境,提前把仿真的考試氛圍認(rèn)識(shí)到。

想要可以應(yīng)對(duì)如此嘈雜的考場(chǎng)環(huán)境,那么大家要在平日練習(xí)時(shí)采取‘小組學(xué)習(xí)’的方式,更多的和同學(xué)們交流,模仿機(jī)考的真正情況是和大家一個(gè)話題展開討論,要知道,多開口講永遠(yuǎn)要比單純地聽效果要好很多。如果在前期的復(fù)習(xí)過程中,很難流暢地說出完整的句子,或只能說些陳詞濫調(diào)、句式表達(dá)單一,那先練習(xí)寫,寫出來(lái)再說,反復(fù)練習(xí)自然熟能生巧?!?/p>

那么,考生需要的是選擇哪些途徑復(fù)習(xí)有更好的效果呢?新托??谡Z(yǔ)考試的第一與二題通常都使得大家某一話題做描述,能夠從網(wǎng)絡(luò)上更多的尋找一些“機(jī)經(jīng)”方面的資料輔助復(fù)習(xí)。第三到六題一般需要閱讀一段材料亦或是聽一段文字,在這個(gè)基礎(chǔ)上又進(jìn)行口語(yǔ)表達(dá),此外,在此提醒大家:當(dāng)大家轉(zhuǎn)述原文里的詞或句時(shí),需要的是做同義替換,避免使用原詞、原句,還要注意句型盡量多樣化,闡述觀點(diǎn)要邏輯緊密、思路清晰。

此外有的托福口語(yǔ)備考的小方法,例如考生能夠有意識(shí)地準(zhǔn)備有的十分精彩的事例,在真正機(jī)考時(shí),使用典型事例不但能夠給自己加分,同時(shí)還能夠更加有效避免緊張卡殼。另外,在考試之前要多做些錄音練習(xí),可以先用錄音機(jī)把自己的話錄下來(lái),而后再反復(fù)聽自己的口語(yǔ)錄音,這樣很容易發(fā)現(xiàn)哪里存在問題,及時(shí)改進(jìn)、更正。
