I always do because I dont want to overspend, as you may know, its so easy to make an impulsive shopping decision when youre in a fancy department store surrounded by all the exquisite lovely fashion items, theyre all temptations.

Do you make a to-do list at work?

Ive been making a to-do list every day ever since I started working. There are so many tasks for me to deal with, I have to prioritize those urgent and important ones and put them on the top of my lists so that I wont waste too much time on the trivial ones.

trivial - 瑣碎的，不重要的 adj.

Why dont some people like making lists?

I dont know, to be honest, because Im not that kind of person. I suppose that they probably prefer to play it by ear, some of them might enjoy making decisions based on a whim. Or perhaps they think that even if they made a schedule, they would never follow it, so its just a waste of time.
