What kind of disease you suffered from

Depression is very common not only among adults but also among teenagers and something I suffered from a while back. I didnt actually know what depression was until the doctor told me. I was shocked and also felt very anxious. Then I started receving treatment and realized I could manage it carefully with exercise and medication.

When you had the disease

It started when I was in high school. Everything was going well until I took my first midterm exam. I didnt do very well and my parents were very disappointed. Following that they put even more pressure on me to do well and to be honest, it was too much.

I felt myself becoming more and more depressed and I didnt know what to do. Finally, I spoke to my parents and I think they saw that I needed some professional help. They took me to a doctor who helped a lot.
