1.Do you like reading?

你喜歡讀書(shū)嗎？

To be honest, I am not a big fan of reading books. I prefer to watchsome TV shows and short videos in my spare time. I dont know whatbooks to read. Nobody recommends me any. Also, I dont think itsrelaxing to read.

說(shuō)實(shí)話，不喜歡。我更喜歡閑暇時(shí)候看電視或者短視頻。我不知道該讀什么書(shū)，沒(méi)人給我推薦，而且讀書(shū)也不是很放松的事。

2.Do you have many books at home?

你家里有很多書(shū)嗎?

Actually, I do have many books because I like buying books when Ishop in a bookstore. However, I dont read them. I feel that sincethey belong to me, theres no need to start reading them soon.

我其實(shí)有很多書(shū)因?yàn)槲夜鋾?shū)店的時(shí)候喜歡買(mǎi)書(shū)，但是我不怎么讀因?yàn)槲矣X(jué)得反正這些書(shū)是我的了，沒(méi)必要著急讀。

3.Do Chinese people do enough reading?

中國(guó)人讀書(shū)多嗎?

Based on my observation, we Chinese dont do enough reading. Forexample, when I travel on a subway, I realize that the commuters arealways playing with their phones listening to music or playing gamesinstead of reading a book. Very few people would hold a book to read.

根據(jù)我的觀察，中國(guó)人書(shū)讀得不多。比如，我坐地鐵的時(shí)候發(fā)現(xiàn)，車(chē)上的人大多在玩手機(jī)或者聽(tīng)音樂(lè)、玩游戲而不是讀書(shū)。很少有人拿本書(shū)在讀。

4.What kind of people like reading and what kind of people dont?

什么樣的人喜歡讀書(shū)，什么樣的人不喜歡讀書(shū)？

It is my opinion that language teachers and history teachers lovereading a lot. Also, writers and people who study literature. Theirjobs require them to read. As for people who dislike reading, I wouldsay that these people usually cannot concentrate for a long time.They may prefer outdoor activities like hiking or cycling.

在我看來(lái)，語(yǔ)言教師和歷史教師都很喜歡讀書(shū)，作家和研究文學(xué)的人也是，這是他們的工作需要。不愛(ài)讀書(shū)的人應(yīng)該是那些無(wú)法集中精力很久的人吧，他們可能更喜歡爬山、騎行這些戶(hù)外活動(dòng)。
