Today, an increasing amount of attention has been paid to juvenile delinquency. Some people suggest that if a young person commits a felony, they should be sentenced as an adult

From the perspective of young criminals, the felony they commit often has two characteristics. First the subjectivism of their crime is very strong. When committing violent crimes, such as robbery and assault, criminals often have great subjective malice. Their purpose is to hurt or rob other people in a violent way. Consequently, they often cause very serious personal injury or damage o property. On the other hand, unlike less serious crimes, the rehabilitation of violent crime criminals is often not seen. Their lives and values have been distorted, and no matter what easures are taken, they are unlikely to change.

For the community and the victims, if a felon receives a lighter sentence, this in tum does great harm to the udicial system, and justice itself. What the criminals have done have caused enormous harm to both the community and their victims. If they are given special consideration in the trial and receive a lighter sentence it will send a very dangerous message to the younger generation. The message is that if a young person gets convicted of a crime, they will be treated very leniently. In addition, the victims and their families will feel that justice has not been served as it should have been. If a young person who has raped or murdered is acquitted or given a lighter sentence, it would be a great injustice for the victim and the society at large

In summary, I agree that a young person who has committed serious crimes should be treated as an adult.

如今，青少年的犯罪問題受到人們越來越多的關(guān)注。有些人建議，如果年輕人犯下重罪，則他們應(yīng)當(dāng)受到和成年人一樣的懲罰。

從少年犯的角度來看，他們犯下的重罪往往具有以下兩個(gè)特點(diǎn)。首先，他們實(shí)施犯罪的主觀性極強(qiáng)。實(shí)施暴力犯罪時(shí)，如搶劫和暴力襲擊，罪犯往往都有極大的主觀惡性。他們的目的就是以暴力的方式傷害對方或者搶劫財(cái)物。因此，他們經(jīng)常造成非常嚴(yán)重的人身傷害或財(cái)物損失。另一方面，和輕微犯罪不同，暴力犯罪的改造效果往往不太理想。他們的人生觀、價(jià)值觀已經(jīng)扭曲，無論采取什么措施，都不太容易改變。

從社會和受害人的角度來看，重罪輕判是對司法制度和公正的極大損害罪犯所做的事情已經(jīng)給社會和受害人帶來了巨大的傷害，如果在審判過程中他們受到特殊照而且判決較輕，那么這會向年輕一代發(fā)出一個(gè)極其危險(xiǎn)的信號，會讓他們認(rèn)為如果自己犯下罪行是可以被輕判的。另外，受害人和家屬會感到正義沒有得到伸張。如果一個(gè)實(shí)施了強(qiáng)奸或殺人的年輕罪犯得以脫罪或者從輕量刑，這對于受害方和整個(gè)社會來說都是極大的不公平。
