雅思口語【智商高的人】Why the person is intelligent?這道題作為整個part 2最核心的問題，也是我們最需要突出一個人Intelligent的部分。可恰恰很多同學(xué)此時會有一個疑問，什么叫高智商?

如果想不出觀點(diǎn)的話，不如我們先來查個字典，了解一下Intelligence最本質(zhì)的定義。

柯林斯中是這樣解釋的：A person or animal that is intelligent has the ability to think, understand, and learn things quickly and well.

從最基本的定義中我們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)，一個聰明的人往往具有比較強(qiáng)的思考理解能力，同時學(xué)習(xí)能力也很強(qiáng)。那么現(xiàn)在我們也就可以直接把定義作為問題的觀點(diǎn)來進(jìn)行使用。

他/她很聰明是因?yàn)閷W(xué)習(xí)能力很強(qiáng)

那么學(xué)習(xí)能力強(qiáng)又體現(xiàn)在怎樣的細(xì)節(jié)上呢?不如我們先來拆分一下學(xué)習(xí)到底會包括哪些角度。我大致把它拆分成：學(xué)習(xí)時長、老師、作業(yè)、考試、學(xué)習(xí)方法、學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容等這幾個最主要的角度?，F(xiàn)在我們就可以通過這些進(jìn)一步拆分出來的角度來思考更為細(xì)節(jié)性的內(nèi)容。

- 學(xué)習(xí)時長

聰明的人學(xué)任何東西都很快。你可能需要1個月的時間掌握一門技術(shù)，但他只需要短短幾節(jié)課就可以了。

Example ：

I think he is the most intelligent person I know, because he can master any skill in a very short time.

I remember clearly a few years ago, we both signed up for a Japanese class, as both of us were obsessed with anime. We were complete beginners, but after only a few lessons, my friend was way ahead of me.

A month later, he was able to have conversations with people in Japanese. Even our teacher was amazed by his abilities. I guess some people just have a knack for languages.

- 學(xué)習(xí)方法

聰明的人不靠蠻學(xué)，靠智學(xué)。為此，他們哪怕不怎么學(xué)習(xí)依舊可以取得高分。

Example ：

I think my older cousin is the most intelligent person I know.

When we were younger, thanks to his high IQ, he would always get high grades without spending anytime studying. I, on the other hand, had to study at least 5 hours a day and he still did better than me.

One day I asked him what the secret to his success was. He told me it was very simple, You need to focus more during class, so you dont need to study much at night.

After that, I took on board his advice and it worked out well as my grades improved.

- 作業(yè)考試

聰明的人面對作業(yè)和考試永遠(yuǎn)不會有任何負(fù)擔(dān)，同時，他們總是可以不費(fèi)吹灰之力就取得高分。

Example ：

He is very smart and intelligent. He is the only person I know who is not afraid of homework and exams. He thinks it is all a walk in the park.

2 years ago, we had our college entrance exam. It was regarded as the most difficult and challenging exam in the past 10 years. He was the only person who got a high score.

He passed all the subjects with flying colors and even became the Gaokao champion in our province. When we heard the news, we were overjoyed.

- 老師

聰明的人往往有著很強(qiáng)的自學(xué)能力。不管多難的課程，他們都可以無師自通。

Example ：

The reason I think he is intelligent is that he is good at teaching himself things.

It sounds impossible that you could learn a program on your own, however, he did it and he did it very well.

He told me that he watched free tutorials online and read books about programming until he got the hang of it. Now he is able to operate Python, Java and C++.

- 學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容

聰明的人往往會很多東西。他們精通的不只是單一的一種技能，而是跨度廣，有深度。

Example ：

I think he is intelligent because he is versatile and masters many skills.

For example, he is not only good at car racing, but also he can repair the car by himself. He is also a good cook and a talented amateur photographer. Last year, he won first place in an international photo contest for a picture he had taken in Africa.

If that wasnt enough, he is also a technology genius. He is very good at programming and coding. When I get stuck with this, he is the first person I go to.

學(xué)習(xí)能力強(qiáng)和理解能力強(qiáng)，其實(shí)是一樣的，但我還是把它們分開來分別進(jìn)行闡述。

-一個思考理解能力強(qiáng)的人，往往會更具有批判精神。他們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)別人發(fā)現(xiàn)不了的問題。

Example ：

My classmate in high school is very intelligent and good at critical thinking, so she is able to spot all the mistakes and pitfalls made by others, including teachers.

I clearly remember once in physics, she found a mistake made by our teacher. She fidgeted in her seat with a grin waiting for the teacher to finish and quietly raised her hand to point out the mistake.

But she never directly said Hey Mister, you made a mistake. She would try as much as possible not to embarrass the teacher.

- 一個思考理解能力強(qiáng)的人，往往也具備很好的推理能力。他們能根據(jù)僅有的內(nèi)容自己推倒出更多的信息。

Example ：

My classmate is really smart. We are both studying engineering, but I struggle to understand what the teacher is talking about most of the time. However, he is really good at explaining things, so he always helps me out. I never see him studying really, but I think he knows most of it anyway.

I remember once our teacher had no time to finish the last chapter of the book, so he left it as homework for us. It was really tough for me, however, my friend thought it was a breeze.

他/她很聰明是因?yàn)樗哂袆?chuàng)造力

除了以上的亮點(diǎn)外，一個聰明的人往往也具備了想象力和創(chuàng)造力，他們可以有很多不同于別人的想法。

比如：馬云提出了螞蟻森林來解決環(huán)境問題。

Example ：

Jack Ma is a very intelligent person who has many creative ideas. He is also very good at at problem solving.

For example, he is a spokesperson for environmental issues. In order to combat deforestation, he launched a program called Ant Forest. The program motivates people to have an eco-friendly lifestyle.

The idea is that people earn virtual energy which they can turn into actual trees. China has a vast desert and so far, thanks to this project, over ten million trees have been planted.

比如：張小龍發(fā)明了在線漂流瓶和微信小程序。前者用來解決人的孤單問題;后者則是為了釋放大家的手機(jī)空間以及減少軟件的下載時間。

Example ：

Zhang Xiaolong is an intelligent person who is good at identifying problems and coming up with solutions.

Years ago, he launched an add-on program for a very successful messaging service called virtual floating bottle. It allows people to write down and send their deepest feelings without knowing who will find it and read it. The add-on has helped people with loneliness and depression.
