Argument(辯論類)：75%-85%

出題讓考生辯論觀點(diǎn)或權(quán)衡利弊

典型提問方式：

①Discuss both (these) views and give your own opinion.

②(To what extent) Do you agree or disagree?

③(To what extent) Do you think the advantages/ benefits outweigh the disadvantages/ drawbacks?

④What is your opinion/ view?/ What do you think?

5.Is this a positive or negative development/trend?

Report

題目中不給出任何觀點(diǎn)，但會(huì)出現(xiàn)一種現(xiàn)象，要求考生分析現(xiàn)象的原因，帶來的問題，影響因素，解決方案，應(yīng)對(duì)措施，以及產(chǎn)生的影響等

舉例：

In many countries, schools have severe problems with student behavior.

What are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest? (C4-4)

Mixed

提問方式往往既涉及議論又要求考生進(jìn)行一定說明，所以兼?zhèn)銩rgument和report的雙重特性，從而相對(duì)靈活

Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems.
