白給分第一類：

有一種無序題(課上再給你詳細(xì)講這種類型題應(yīng)該什么時(shí)候做)叫information-containing question.全名：'which paragraph contains the following information.'這種題考十次其中有7次會(huì)出(70%的出題頻率)會(huì)考'the reference to xx'/'the definition of xx''the concept of xx'/'the term of xx'。這種題你只需要找到xx在閱讀中第一次出現(xiàn)的段落就好啦。因?yàn)樾迈r事物在原文中出現(xiàn)的第一次處就要給出解釋和說明了，所以xx的定義自然就在整片文章第一次出現(xiàn)它的位置嘍。

題目：27 The definition of phenology.

解析：該題在考察phenology的定義，所以只需要在整篇文章中找到phenology第一次出現(xiàn)的那個(gè)段落---'B'段落。自然B就是答案了。

原文：

B段：Today, such records are being put to uses that their authors could not possibly have expected. These data sets, and others like them, are proving invaluable to ecologists interested in the timing of biological events, or phenology. By combining the records with climate data, researchers can reveal how, for example, changes in temperature affect the arrival of spring, allowing ecologists to make improved predictions about the impact of climate change. A small band of researchers is combing through hundreds of years of records taken by thousands of amateur naturalists. 解析：你看，該題核心考點(diǎn)就是cost，定位詞為cost和purifying domestic water.切記，{{所有閱讀題中定位詞的順序?yàn)椤久~動(dòng)詞形容詞】(不排除名詞會(huì)有詞形/詞性/同義詞替換，但總是比動(dòng)詞或者形容詞替換的頻率小)。}}.在原文中可以找到很多阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字，所以我們初步判定 該段為cost的相關(guān)段落，仔細(xì)觀摩之，你可以看到removal of xx from drinking water.為此，我們判定E段就是我們的選項(xiàng)!!!
