I would like to talk about the late Mr. Qian Xuesen. He was honored the father of rockets and missiles in China, coz he had made great contributions to the development of modernization, especially in the field of aerospace and national defense. It was in the history class when I was a pupil that I learned of him. From then on, he became a hero in my heart. Well, you see, when the Peoples Republic of China was founded in 1949, our motherland needed plenty of talented people to afford the burden of construction. Under this circumstance, Qian Xuesen immediately made up his mind to come back to devote what he had learnt abroad to the construction of new China. But American made every effort to prevent him going back, and provide him with a lot of material conditions, so as to persuade him to remain in America. Due to his determination, he tried his best and finally succeeds in coming back, and made much contribution to the research on rockets and missiles.

I would like to talk about Lu xun.He is a short-story writer， essayist， critic， and literary theorist who is considered one of the greatest figures in the 20th-century Chinese literature。 In the West Lu Xun is chiefly known for his stories， which have been translated into more than a dozen languages。 Lu Xun's acclaimed short stories appeared in three collections between the years 1923 and 1935。 He also produced sixteen volumes of essays， reminiscences， prose poetry， historical tales， some sixty classical-style poems， and a dozen volumes of scholarly research， and numerous translations。

The collected works of Lu Xun in twenty volumes was first published in 1938。 Lu Xun's work is still widely read in China。 In his lifetime Lu Xun managed to maintain his status as an independent but leftist artist， but since his death political factions have been slightly nervous about his legacy
