》舊托福TWE題庫185道中有六題比較題型，特別之處是比較一項(xiàng)建筑計(jì)劃的利弊：你贊成還是反對在你的臨近地區(qū)--建筑新的工廠？餐館？商場？戲院？學(xué)校？大學(xué)？

回答此類問題不可以腳踏兩條船。開頭第一句就應(yīng)該表明答題的立場作為文章的主題。不過，如果你的立場是贊成，卻也讓步說一說別人反對的原因。相反的，如果你的立場是反對，也照樣給贊成者的意見說話的機(jī)會。在文章的結(jié)尾，又再度重申立場--贊成或反對。（這類題目不會有中間立場。）
