UC加州大學(xué)申請系統(tǒng)-

加州大學(xué)的本科申請系統(tǒng)是共用的。一方面可以為申請者節(jié)約填寫申請表格的時間;另一方面，加州大學(xué)會按照統(tǒng)一的標準來錄取學(xué)生。加州大學(xué)的申請系統(tǒng)和Common App與CAAS的申請有很多不同之處，我們會在后面的干貨中具體介紹。

-Common Application申請系統(tǒng)-

Common Application(通常被稱作Common App)，是美國以及其他一些國家的大學(xué)本科入學(xué)的一站式申請網(wǎng)站，目前已經(jīng)廣泛適用于包括哈佛大學(xué)、耶魯大學(xué)等眾多名校在內(nèi)的527所大學(xué)。

它的使命是鼓勵申請者使用這種一站式的申請，簡化原本復(fù)雜繁瑣的程序，包括申請文書、推薦信的提交，以及SAT分數(shù)和班級排名的報告等主客觀因素。

Common Application系統(tǒng)充分發(fā)揮了網(wǎng)絡(luò)的優(yōu)勢，只需要填寫一次申請表，存入的基本信息就可以提交到系統(tǒng)內(nèi)所有高校。

該系統(tǒng)的申請需要寫兩篇作文：一篇長作文和一篇短作文。這兩篇作文可以用在申請系統(tǒng)內(nèi)的所有高校。

當然，系統(tǒng)里基本每所高校都需要填寫補充材料(Supplement)，以便更全面地掌握申請者的個人信息。

每個學(xué)校需要的補充材料不同，有的涉及家庭背景，有的關(guān)于學(xué)習(xí)背景和課外活動，有的則需要多寫幾篇作文。

總體來說，CommonApplication最大的好處就是減少了填寫申請表中重復(fù)信息填寫的工作量，在基本信息和系統(tǒng)作文部分實現(xiàn)一表多用。

-CAAS申請系統(tǒng)-

2015年9月底，80多所美國一流大學(xué)聯(lián)合推出了CAAS新網(wǎng)申請系統(tǒng)(Coalition for Access, Affordability and Success)。

就像這個系統(tǒng)的名字一樣，這個新系統(tǒng)希望能夠幫助低收入的少數(shù)民族學(xué)生，新移民學(xué)生，家里過去沒人上過大學(xué)的人，更容易接近和接觸美國大學(xué)。

目前已經(jīng)宣布加入該系統(tǒng)的大學(xué)包括所有常青藤盟校，以及久負盛名的其它大學(xué)和文理學(xué)院。

美國頂尖名校在政府與社會輿論媒體的壓力下做出這個決定，本意在實現(xiàn)更公平公正的錄取機制，讓不同社會階層和族裔的學(xué)生享受同等的名校升學(xué)資源與機會。

與CommonApp不同的是，CAAS新網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)鼓勵9年級學(xué)生盡早了解接觸大學(xué)生申請相關(guān)事宜，立志用于于幫助學(xué)生更早的規(guī)劃高中生活。
