身為一只正在備考的烤鴨，關(guān)于雅思口語你不得不搞定以下幾個題，因為它們是口語考試part 1部分的必考題，考官會用它來確定你的身份，并且當(dāng)作給你暖場，放松心情，進入考試狀態(tài)。所以它們的共同特點是，都和你的基本個人信息相關(guān)，是你最熟悉的話題。

1. What major are you studying?

2. Why did you choose to study that subject?

3. What courses do you like and dislike? [why/why not]

4. Where do you study?

5. Why did you choose this school/university?

What major are you studying?

我們提到過，說出句子會比只說一個詞來得好，所以最好是說一個句子，比如：

My major is computer science.

I major in computer science.

Im studying the major of computer science.

緊接著的問題必然是Why，你可以直接接著上面的答案說下去，喜不喜歡這個專業(yè)，為什么選這個專業(yè)等等，也有可能考官接話接的快些，緊接著就問你：

Why did you choose to study that subject?

條件反射地，你會用because開頭，這沒錯，符合邏輯，而且假如后面的理由陳述得好自然是沒問題的，比如：

Because I like this major very much. Computer science is a little bit challenging but Im good at it so I enjoy doing this subject. Also, I can get a decent job easily after I graduate from the university.

但如果你能想出的理由比較單一，開頭的時候應(yīng)該給自己爭取一點時間，用總起的方式就可以辦到：

There are many reasons why I choose computer science as a major.

或者

The reasons are complicated, you know.

再加上理由，也很自然，而且能讓答案顯得更長。

總結(jié)一下回答這個問題的角度可以有：

是否喜歡這個專業(yè)(是不是自己選的，還是父母家人建議的?)

like/enjoy, dislike/don't like/hate

it's my cup of tea 它是我喜愛的。

專業(yè)內(nèi)容難不難，有趣嗎(還可以列舉課程)

easy, hard, difficult, challenging, interesting, boring

日后發(fā)展怎么樣(找工作，深造可行性)

find a decent job, do further study, go to study abroad

總起可以說：

We have so many subjects, of course.

上次講過的舉例子(example)的方法在這里也可以使用，for example, for instance. 今天再說兩個，such as以及l(fā)ike，都能引出短語或者詞匯，不能加句子。

接著講：

I like some of the courses such as Academic Writing and Theory of Software Engineering because I can learn a lot in these courses and the professors are very nice and supportive. However, I hate doing courses like Introduction to Technology because the lectures are so boring.

Where do you study?

問地點，自然就是學(xué)校的name，location，還可以提一提現(xiàn)在幾年級，在那待了多久了，喜不喜歡這個學(xué)校，這些都是extra information額外信息。

I'm studying in Nanjing University and Im in the new campus on the outskirts of the city. I have been studying there for two years and I like this university very much.

不管你說喜歡還是不喜歡，考官都可能會追問，為何選擇在此讀書：

Why did you choose this school/university?

這個問題在申請學(xué)校寫Personal Statement的時候也要提及，比如名氣大，歷史悠久，教學(xué)質(zhì)量好，環(huán)境優(yōu)美，注重學(xué)生身心健康，涉及到人、地、事、時、物各個方面;

object名氣大(good reputation)

time歷史悠久(long history)

place環(huán)境優(yōu)美(beautiful campus surroundings)

event教學(xué)質(zhì)量好(excellent education quality)

people重學(xué)生身心健康(pay attention to the wellbeing of their students)

組織一下語言：

I choose it because of many reasons. The main reason is that it has a good reputation and long history. Also the campus surroundings are beautiful and pleasant. Ive heard that its education quality is excellent while at the same time it pays much attention to the wellbeing of all the students. So I think its a good university.
